  1. The Knights are going to be the wildcard team if they don’t mess up the next two games. More moves will come after the playoffs but don’t expect anyone who hasn’t already played for the Sox this season.
  2. On the bright side, the Braves won’t bat in the 9th, so it may keep this one under 4 hours.
  3. Madrigal single Mercedes rbi double
  4. Matt Davidson had a decent AAA season, but never made it up to the Rangers (yet). He pitched one scoreless inning too.
  5. The Friday afternoon news dump is really a thing. This is sad, and it’s going to get ugly. Hope the family gets the answers they need.
  6. Was hoping to see Swarzak face TA
  7. Quite frankly, to have a single-digit draft pick, they needed a bad week this week. And here we are...
  8. Ha! Just looked to see what Durham was doing too. Get it going, Charlotte!
  9. What is the Charlotte playoff situation? I know there’s first half/second half and that, but are they even still in it with four games left?
  10. In the Sox five wins, Sox outscored the Twins 25-12. 5 homers for the Sox; 4 homers for the Twins. In the Twins 11 wins, Twins outscored the Sox 98-26. 7 homers for the Sox; 33 homers for the Twins. Total: Twins outscored Sox 110-51; HR: 37-12
  11. Every player gets that slack. Doesn't matter the team. My problem with Cease is that his AAA season wasn't exactly great either. He's going to have to prove he belongs next year, because Kopech will probably be up in May and Dunning could push him too. And of course, Rodon later on.
  12. Only 120 innings this season. It's not like he should be dragging out there. Very disappointing season, but we've seen turnarounds before.
  13. Tim’s just making baseball less boring. His errors make it exciting for the other team.
  14. Not watching so not sure if they mentioned, two more k’s is 200 for the season for Giolito. Hopefully no more long balls.
  15. No shit. We should be so fortunate. When it comes to the Sox “sustained success”, let’s start with back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time in team history (yes, I know about 1994).
  16. He served a 50-game suspension at the start of 2014.
