  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 3, 2017 -> 04:36 PM) Miguel Gonzalez has been really bad this year. Every stat is worse than last season. So what exactly has Cooper done to deserve sticking around? He's Coop. Jerry is the owner.
  2. Ynoa on DL with hip flexor. Brad Goldberg up.
  3. Six games with Oakland before the break. 2-4 could go a long way.
  4. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20170603 Luis Robert is Active on the DSL roster. They have a game in the morning. http://www.milb.com/roster/index.jsp?cid=633
  5. Petricka rehab assignment in progress. Walk and k so far. Got the dp.
  6. Looking at tomorrow's scoreboard, noticed the DSL starts tomorrow. Robert playing right away?
  7. Buffalo to Detroit is quick if they make a roster move. Nights like these, mercy!
  8. I think Fulmer is ready to come up and take his lumps and get experience under Coop. It's not like last year when they were hoping he'd be part of a staff that could compete.
  9. The 15-12 start was as good as it was going to get. I have no doubt the Sox will lose over 90 games and get a pick in 2018 in the 3 to 6 range.
  10. Moncada leading off. Single, sb
  11. Hopefully Holland and Gonzalez put up quality starts in Sox losses. 35 games til the break. 13-22, please. 37-50 at the break.

  13. Interleague so far- AL-60 NL-40 AL East 30-16 AL Cent 6-13 AL West 24-11 NL East 14-24 NL Cent 13-25 NL West 13-11
  14. Just sayin... 7-15 outside the division. 12-17 on the road. 15 of the next 19 games are on the road. Probably will be good and buried by the break.
  15. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 31, 2017 -> 12:48 PM) 5 straight years in the playoffs? I mean... Yes, that's what they are trying to accomplish. Chances are they'll have a season in there where too much goes wrong and they don't make the postseason, but yes this is about sustained success and relevance most years. Not a magical season where they luck into a dominant bullpen and a weak division.
  16. If the Sox accomplish what they're trying to do, they can get a nice cluster of years similar to what the Phillies or Rangers did. Or even the Tigers. You can never assume holding the trophy at the end of a season, but they can make the playoffs 2020-2024, if the rebuild goes as planned and they have enough health year to year.
  17. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 30, 2017 -> 09:41 PM) Wanted to watch the game today.. work circumstances changed that. Sale looks like he's getting worked, and Quintana had a horrible night. Is he just.. bad this year? What's going on there? Not sure what's up with Q. I do think the WBC threw off his preseason prep, but that can only be an excuse for so long. 5.60 ERA after two months. Unless the next 9 starts are quality, he's not getting moved during the season.
  18. This is Quintana's 162nd career start. The Sox are 74-87 in his starts.
