QUOTE (Scoots @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 03:35 PM) Per the Doppler Radar, that rain ain't ending in Minny any time soon. Looking at what's left in the area, it looks like it's on its last legs. They should be able to start at 4:45-5, if that's the plan.

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Jun 22, 2017 -> 03:21 PM) wow. What is even the point. On getaway day too. Sox go home and the Twins only go to Cleveland, so it's not too bad on travel, but a nearly 5 hr rain delay when they come back in August is a little surprising.

Surprised they're waiting this out. Not ideal, but they could play two at the end of August.

June 20th Game Thread: White Sox @Minnesota Twins
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 20, 2017 -> 07:26 PM) Holland is so bad. Nothing on these pitches. It'll probably be his turn to go on the 10-day after Gonzalez is off.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jun 18, 2017 -> 08:47 AM) We're within 2 games of six teams. I fully expect us in the 3 to 5 range by seasons end. Philadelphia & San Diego are going to be the only teams hard to catch IMO. The Reds are falling back to Earth, and the Giants are just having one of those years. The A's also are bad. I expect the Sox to lose at least 88 games still, so maybe the 5th, but no lower than 8th is my guess.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 17, 2017 -> 10:52 PM) Tied for 10th with Cardinals. Phillies, Giants and Padres the three clear worst by a mile... By the end of tomorrow's games, nine out of the ten worst teams can be NL teams- they kinda already are. If the Sox beat the Blue Jays, they'll have the same record, and they are currently 15th. Oh well.

QUOTE (daggins @ Jun 17, 2017 -> 09:55 AM) Seems kind of pointless to follow this until after the trade deadline, no? The Sox will be mediocre-bad until then, and likely worse after. This whole board is pointless- ranking prospects, rooting for wins or losses, wanting a top 5 pick...it doesn't matter, but it's interesting to follow for some.

Who would you be most upset if the Sox traded them?
Nobody. The only one that I'd be somewhat sad to see go because he's a good guy is Quintana, but if the deal is right, do it in a heartbeat.

8th The top 8 NL teams won, and the bottom 7 lost. A's beat the Yankees, so that's good.
