Angels move into the 2nd spot, and still alive in the AL West, playing 4 in Texas this weekend:
Angels 83-74 -- (1 vs Oak, 4 at Tex)
Astros 83-75 0.5 (1 at Sea, off, 3 at Arz)
Twins 81-75 1.5 (3 at Cle, 3 vs KC)
Twins need to win two games today.

8. White Sox 73-83 W
9. Padres 73-83 L
10. Tigers 73-83 L
11. Mariners 74-83 W
Hopefully the Tigers don't end the season a half game worse than the Sox since they're playing 161.
8. Padres 73-84
9. Tigers 73-84
10. White Sox 74-83
11. Mariners 75-83
Rajai Davis bunted on his own in the 9th in a 7-6 game, with runners on 1st and 3rd and 1 out. Popped out.

Royals have to be two games better than the Blue Jays over the last 6 games to get home field advantage throughout.
I'm going to guess if you're on this site regularly, it means you're a huge White Sox fan, and you just want them to make better decisions that will lead them to more wins and sustained success.
The frustration of White Sox fans is completely warranted and valid. If anyone here doesn't have something critical of the White Sox organization, then you're fooling yourself.
Until they make some more organizational moves, they're not going to win and they'll get exactly what they deserve at the box office and lower tv/radio ratings. It's all on the organization, not the consumers.
3-3 with a loss to the Tigers probably keeps them at 10.
4-2 will probably mess things up.
Hopefully the Royals just win three games, and that should wrap things up before they even play the Tigers.
8. White Sox 73-83
9. Padres 73-83
10. Tigers 73-83
11. Mariners 74-83
Hopefully the Tigers don't end the season a half game worse than the Sox since they're playing 161.
Side note...Royals and Blue Jays are tied for HFA. Royals have four meaningful games this week in Chicago.
(Tied in record. Blue Jays won season series 4-3)
I'll update it if the Padres come back and win, but this is what we're looking at for the 8th pick with a week left:
8. Tigers 72-83
9. White Sox 73-83 0.5
10. Padres 73-83 0.5
11. Mariners 74-82 1.5
12. Diamondbacks 75-81 2.5
13. Rays 75-81 2.5
14. Red Sox 75-80 3.0
15. Orioles 76-79 4.0
Red Sox swept the Orioles this weekend without the O's scoring a run.

The Cubs should be rooting for the Cardinals to win the division. They seem way more likely to win a 5 game series vs. STL than PIT, so might as well take your chances in a one game playoff against PIT with Arrieta.
I'm just rooting for Cole to win a home game on October 7th.
Astros 82-74
Angels 81-74 0.5
Twins 80-75 1.5
Indians 77-77 4.0
Remaining games:
Astros- 3 at Mariners, 3 at D-Backs
Angels- 3 vs A's, 4 at Rangers
Twins- 4 at Indians, 3 vs Royals
Indians- 4 vs Twins, 3 vs Red Sox, 1 vs Tigers (if nec)
Remaining records to all land on 84-78:
Astros 2-4
Angels 3-4
Twins 4-3
Indians 7-1 (all at home)
Sox finish season:
36-45 on the road
21-12 vs AL West
14-19 vs AL East
9-11 vs NL Central
Come home 37-38 at the Cell, and 29-41 in the division.
Fire Robin.

Pap attacked Harper it seems.
Holy crap that was crazy.
I can't believe Williams used him later in the game, only to get lit up for 5 runs.
Papelbon was booed off the field BAAAAD. 11 mil next year.
I want to punch people that talk about Grienke and Kershaw splitting votes because they're on the same team.
Steve Stone says a lot of dumb stuff for being such an intellectual wannabe.
