Rodon is pretty special. Can't wait to see what he does with 30 or more starts next year. Last 8 starts for Sale and Rodon, both have 5 quality starts, Sox are 5-3 in their starts, and Rodon has a 4.27 ERA, and Sale has a 4.50 ERA.

Mariners DFA'd Fernando Rodney and sent down Danny Farquar after the game last night. Logan Kensing one of the guys called up. He was with the Sox in spring training.

The Rangers have the second wildcard. The day the Sox got to 49-50, the Rangers were 48-52.

Of course on a day Davidson faced a future good major league pitcher, he goes 0-4 with 3 ks. Not sure what it means, but Viciedo is hitting .316 with Charlotte. Single and walk today.
