Jaye 5 innings, 2 runs Kussmaul struck out 2 in a scoreless 6th. 4-2 Barons
  2. Beckham...it's time.
  3. What's lame is the unbalanced schedule. The Indians played the teams on their schedule and they've won enough to this point to contend. Nothing they should feel bad about. What's incredible is that they lost 15 games to the Tigers and are still in it for a playoff spot.

Brandon Jacobs with a base running mistake.
  5. This would be the first time the Indians have ever swept the same opponent in a 4-game series three times in the same season. That's probably rare for the Yankees.

Micah 2-2, added RBI single We got some depth at 2B. 4-2 Bham, 3rd
  7. QUOTE (Marty34 @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 06:50 PM) I can see that as more than a possibility. Who do you think plays SS? I'm thinking they'll try to trade Alexei and they won't be able to, so they trade Beckham.
  8. Sale doing his best John Danks impression.
  9. I'm going out on a limb, and say Semien will play 150+ games at 2B for the Sox next year, and we'll be happy with his season.
  10. 5:30 start...if you care

  12. Huge loss for the Rays. Big game for the Indians, who could be a half game back of the Rays and Rangers.
  13. I think I inspired the Twins!
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 04:03 PM) I don't think the White Sox care enough to sweep off home plate, let alone to sweep the twins. Both teams don't care, but I'm sure Johnson, Quintana, and Danks will be trying to get outs.
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 03:55 PM) The White Sox don't seem to care nearly enough to win the 5 remaining games it'll take to catch them. They mailed it in weeks ago. If the Sox lose one game to the Twins, I think we got the 3rd pick locked up. If we sweep them, especially coming off a Sale win tonight (hopefully), then it becomes a little more open for them to pass us. They play Oakland, Detroit, and Cleveland after the Sox.
  16. The Twins are the only team I still think can lose enough to take the 3rd pick. Terrible team.
  17. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 03:02 PM) I neeeeeed Sale to pitch this game. Please please please. Nobody cares about your fantasy team.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 02:35 PM) You can't even think about having Sale start this game now. Just let Axelrod go out there and pitch and not worry about the face of your franchise slipping on a wet surface. Agreed. But if they wait for all of the rain to end, the field should be ok. I just don't want Sale to pitch in the rain.
  19. Scherzer no decision.
  20. On the Sox game, they would have been better off announcing this morning the new game time is 5pm.
  21. Leury Garcia CF, Gordon Beckham 2B, Alexei Ramirez SS, Adam Dunn 1B, Jeff Keppinger DH, Dayan Viciedo LF, Jordan Danks RF, Josh Phegley C, Marcus Semien 3B
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 12:53 PM) Which garcia? The one that matters.
  23. Garcia scratched. Baby coming.
  24. Maybe Sale gets three more great starts, and makes the Cy interesting. Konerko sits today. Danks and Semien in there.
  25. Last 11 vs Cleveland. No wins. Outscored 83-38.
