  1. I see the Royals and Twins lost. We now have a 2 gm lead. I hope we can put a lil more distance between us and those 2 teams...
  2. I think that makes us 28-15 since the break. I hope the can keep it up. We got a nice test comin up with the Bo-Sox on Tuesday and Wendsday. I like our chances at home...
  3. I see your point cwsox. But we have lost to this team 1-0 twice before. So when were down 1-0 in the 7th it's hard not to be negative. But all in all we won. That's all that matters. And than god we're done with the Tigers...
  4. It's not that they don't try and put the best team on the floor. But lazy f***s like Shaq always decline. Kobe's a rapist. Kg is doin his own thing. Doesn't seem to me like the players care about representin their country...
  5. I think Jon is a guy that's grown and matured every year that he's been with the Sox. I am a lil dissapointed that his record is only 10-10. I for one had him down for winning atleast 15 gms. He still could get close to that with a good September. I think Jon showed some maturity "along with help from Jose" In getting outta that bases loaded nobody out jam in the 6th. Last year he gives up atleast 2 runs if not more. But no doubt Jon is on his way to becoming a 15 gm winner and all-star type pitcher...
  6. If they lose these next two games, the seasons over. If you still think theres a chance then, lol uhhh thats your problem. I gotta agree with BMR. We get swept by Detroit again and u can stick a fork in us...
  7. Actually Jon's era in his last 20 starts or so is around 3.70. Problem for Jon is that he'll get into early trouble and give up 2 or 3 runs then settle down the rest of the gm. It's gonna be important for him to get off to a good start and hold em down the 1st 3 or 4 innings...
  8. I'd love to see Cotts up here this time next year. Give him another season in the minors and at triple a mainly...Hopeully he can get his control down. That's the main thing...
  9. What is there to really say....They own us...
  10. I know we got a guy in either triple a or double a that's 12-2...I forgot his name...Surprised he didn't make it...
  11. You have some valid points here, but I don't think we can afford to give Cotts another shot this year. He has shown a consistant lack of command. I think he's going to be very good. But, he's not ready just yet. 100% AGREED
  12. That's what I was worried about before he was even brought up. This was a lose-lose situation from the start...
  13. I agree with most of what u said. But i'd go with Wright over Cotts....End of story...
  14. This team is alright. But they ain't got a damn thing on the orginal dream team. I'd take the 92 teams back-ups and be confident they could beat this team...
  15. This could be a good thing though. Now they'll know not to rush Honel up...
  16. Thank god. Nothing against Cotts. But he shouldn't have been here to begin with. I think it's safe to say the Neal Cotts experiment has FAILED. I just hope this doesn't have a long term effect on him...I'm all for Danny Wright who's been pitchin very well out the pen getting the remianing 5th spot starts...
  17. I think overlooking bad teams is a problem in sports period. That's a reflection of your coach or manager. Good ones makre sure their team is ready to play whether it be good team, bad team, home, or away...
  18. I agree with u man. This lost to Detroit eliminates the 2 wins in NY in my opinion. We gotta play some pretty amazing baseball to win this division. I'm not sure if we can...
  19. maggs is listed as day to day........im sure he will be ok in a couple of days...... The whole season flashed before my eyes when Maggs left the game. I pray to god he's alright...
  20. The 8 losses to the Tigers. How in the hell could u lose 8 times to a team that's only won 33 gms? This White Sox team makes it tough to be a fan most of the time :fyou
