Well when u clobber the Yankees in NY on back to back nights people r gonna take notice. That was an awesome display the boys put on tonight. Once again dominant hitting capped off by an excellent pitching performace by Bartolo. I don't care what anybody says. When they're all right we've got the best 1-2-3 pitching trio in all of baseball. And that includes Oakland...

I was thinking the same thing. I think we could send a strong message to the entire league. That the Sox r for real and can beat anybody.

I actually like the fact we've got nothing but good teams the rest of the way. In the last 2 months or so we've done well against the good teams. This team seems to have letdowns against the bad teams. We won't have to worry about that the last 5 weeks...

Well I don't think u can really count Everett. He hit 18 of his hr's with Texas. But yeah. We've had no problems hitting hr's the last 45 gms or so...

Well the Cubs r still a 1/2 gm out. But I hate having to share the spotlight with those f**s. When they're losing we gotta hear about em and now that were both winning we gotta share with them. It's really sad. I think the Cards and Stros r both a couple of levels above the duds...

I've said in earlier posts. I'm no fan of Kenny Williams. I think for the most part he's f***ed this team over. But for this season I gotta give the man props. He's brought in front-line starting pitching, All-star caliber hitting, And 3 solid relievers. And like that article said. He showed patience in Jm and the rest of the team when everybody else "including me" wanted to give up...

It just pisses me off the Yankess got the kinda pitching depth to where they can afford to send a talent like Weaver down. It's still amazing how this guy has fallen off. I was willing to see Crede go if we could get him. Skip that thought now. This was in 2001 by the way...lol

Thanks for the recap. That was an awesome power display put on by the Sox tonight. Loaiza was breathtaking. 1 hit in 7 innings against the Yanks at home? He might have wrapped up the Cy-Young right there...

Hummel is having a great year. I've heard about him for a few years now. He finally improved that batting average. Oh well...
