Seriously, I grew up hating the Red Wings, but it is such a different place involving hockey here in Michigan. The Wings are on tv all the time. Plus, there is alot of Red Wing pride. The last few years I can't remember hearing anything about the Blackhawks. It is sad.

Kobe didn't rape her. From all we have heard, it seems pretty much like she was not against having sex with Kobe, and only said it was rape afterwards. On the other hand, Kobe is a womanizer and adulterer and I would not blame his wife for divorcing him. I am sure alot of athletes have similar types of relations as Kobe did. First off, Purdue looks pretty special this season too. You bash State for losing to Duke, Kentucky, Oklahoma, your ALL MIGHTY Kansas, Syracuse, and Wisconsin. The only non-ranked team to beat State was UCLA -- at the game where UCLA honored Wooden might I add. You are too bias to even have a discussion with. You say that the fact Kansas lost to Richmond and Neveda is getting old...but what about you saying that State not beating one of their easy opponents? You say that everytime State is brought up. Don't give me the best conference in the nation bulls*** too. Kansas plays SIX ranked teams during the regular season. Two of whom are not even in the Big 12 (State and Stanford). Who the f*** is Fort Hayes State? I am sure they are right on par with Duke or Kentucky.

All bias aside... State is going to get in. They are going to get slack from the committee. Benefit of the doubt if you will. A program that has proven itself, with the hardest schedule ever. Plus, they are a big money team. Even if they do not fully deserve to get in, they will. The committee will also view them as having a chance to make a good run. Just look at what happen with 'Bama last year.

No question it is Gerut. I think Escobar, Crisp, Bard, Philips, and a bunch of others a decent prospects too (if they're still prospects). I question their pitching staff, big time.

People get angry about different things. This is one of those topics which are a little rough for some people. Many of us have been in arguments -- they tend to just die down after a little bit. Everyone lives happy unless it goes too far. As you are around here longer, you will get to know many of the return posters and their tendencies. Don't sweat this stuff though.

He won't play 3B, and he shouldn't play 3B. Everyone knows that. The Yankees will go get someone. No question about that. If he -- hypotheically (sp?) -- did play 3B, it would be the Yankees trying to out-bash the other team.

For those who do not know, and I would assume many of you, Gary used to be a SS, then he went to 3B. He was a 3B when he was on the Brewers. Didn't move to OF until 1994. If you look at the originial thread which said Boone got hurt -- the one that starts with cnnsi.com... -- I half jokingly brought up Gary playing 3B.
