ATTENDANCE
There should be at least 35,000+ at both Monday and Tuesday's games. Both being half price nights. We've seen it in the low 30,000s at other half price games and with the current hot streak I think that a few thousand extra will show up.

TRACK THE RACE!!!!!!!
No, no, no. I keep having to correct you guys. The Twins are 4.5 games back now. With them winning and KC losing the gained a game on the Royals...but not the Sox!

Botch trade
I still think that Koch will get his stuff back, if not this year next. He hasn't been overused this year and the rest will help him. So, with that said, having Cotts come up and be effective would sway the trade in favor of the Sox.

The Fuck Yes Thread
I had to bring out this thread after the sweep. Hopefully it can replace an infamous thread, that was seen too often earlier in the year , the rest of this season!

EVERYONE JUST SHUT THE f*** UP! We're trying to sweep kc and get within 1 game and all you dumbf***s are talking about is koch vs. gordon vs. marte. Who cares? Let's just score some runs and win this f***ing game. Then we can all hold hands and sing.

Sweep KC Game Thread
Why give koch a chance in this important of a game? We're trying to sweep the 1st place team in our division to get 1 game back and we're out here trying to get people's confidence back?!

5 runs and 7 hits against someone we'd never faced before? I'd say this is a brand new second half edition of the 2003 Chicago White Sox!

I think Frank might be pressing to make his 2,000th hit a HR. Anyone else see this?- Sweep KC Game Thread
There's also a story on the royals in this week's Sporting News and it has the same stupid picture of Jose Lima with his mouth open that SI has.- Sweep KC Game Thread
Uuum, no! How about the plain old E-Lo! I love it! How about after this season we call him AL Cy Young Winner!!!- Around the Horn
2 bought the idea of the sox winning the al central, 2 sold it.- The Schoeneweis trade
If kw got a 5th starter and/or a rhp reliever, I don't know how anyone can blame him for any possible sox struggles. He is obviously dedicated in getting what this team needs and giving them the best chances of winning.- Show's Mohawk
Yeah, I heard about that too. He didn't want to make a big deal out of it though. I guess he slicked it down and wore a hat over it when he arrived.- Gammons Speaks
Did anyone else see Gammons get pissed about Jeff Weaver on Tuesday night? I guess when the relievers for NYY came in and blew the game against the Red Sox on Sunday and Weaver didn't react too well in the dugout. Gammons was basically saying stuff to Harold Reynolds like, "I was there...I saw what happened...this guy has done nothing his whole career" and Reynolds says, "He didn't lose the game." Gammons responded with, "he didn't win it." Lay off man, this was the yankees #5 starter who pitched, i believe, 6 or 7 solid innings and the relievers came in and blew it for him. He just reacted in a bad way. At least he is showing that he cares, he wasn't in taking a shower. Oh Stutterin' Peter. - Sweep KC Game Thread
