Kenny Williams had indicated after signing Colon that whatever the Sox do will have to be Payroll neutral. Signing Garland would add to payroll. Jenks has filed for arbritration, this will add to payroll. If Dye is traded for prospects then signing Garland could work. But where to we get Dye's production?

While they're at changing some rules,why not outlaw any park where the speakers, come into play or there is artificial turf that lets batted balls bounce more than 5 feet high. And tell Congress to get busy with their own dirt, fix our problems and stop the money presses from running crazy, getg out of baseball. Never saw a year like this with every team waiting so long. Cabrera is probably going to get half what he turned down from the White Sox. We still get 2 top draft picks from whomever is the ;ucky team. That also is a question that I have....since any team that signs a "Type A" free agent, owes the team that lost them 2 first round draft picks. What happens when the Yankees signed 3 type A's. They don't have enough draft picks to meet the rules? Anybody have a clue how this one works?
