  1. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 10:37 PM) My dad was beginning to think Trump was gonna win and now thinks Hillary just beat him down. Trump's best course of action is to just not talk for the rest of the election. He really does himself no favors. His entire rhetoric is that America's a mess, we need to bring jobs back to America, we need to get rid of career politicians who have cheated the system. Then he openly brags that he has numerous businesses overseas, that he avoided paying federal taxes through loopholes, profited off the housing crisis, and that he didn't pay certain workers because he thought "they didn't do a good enough job". I'm not sure how he doesn't see that as contradictory. Not to mention that tweet he had a few years back where he said China created climate change as a hoax, only to say that he never said that in the debate. The tweet is still there...
  2. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 10:33 PM) If Trump wins his supporters have earned it. Trump basically admitted he literally would lie, cheat and steal to save $1. And yet people are going to "trust" that he can do all of these magical things. Hillary missed a few huge opportunities to really take it to Trump. The first is that he kept harping on bringing back jobs. He then bragged about how his corporation is successful in other countries. Should have asked why he doesnt bring his jobs back. There were some others too, its generally when he starts bragging about his success that he lets his real personality show. Like how about never paying taxes, going bankrupt and not paying people. IE He says "Its the best hotel/club/building in the world." Then says "I didnt pay them because I wasnt happy with the job." So its the best building in the world done by the s***tiest contractors. But hes a good con man, you dont make "$764 mil" If you arent good at convincing people to buy things they dont want. Yup. She really didn't change her gameplan in the middle of the debates to really stick it to him. Perhaps the lack of commercial breaks makes that harder to do. Again, Trump's true supporters wouldn't change their minds regardless of what happened. But the truth is that they both needed to win independent voters. I don't know how you can listen to Trump without being bored or losing interest if you're undecided. He adds in so many narcissistic and off-topic remarks that he loses the viewer 10-20 seconds into his talk. Hillary, I thought, started out strong, but seemed to lose a little bit of coherence in her speech as the debate moved along (insert stamina joke here).
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 10:21 PM) It had 16 people. He was never in a 1-on-1 debate At the start. The field went down to 3 at the end didn't it?
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 10:18 PM) That because he doesn't actually say anything of substance and is just bumbling around Yup. I'm not sure how people sat through the Republican debates with this guy.
  5. QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 09:13 PM) Nice comment about the person hacking from their bed that happens to weigh 400 pounds. And how his 10 year old son is a god at computers... Both candidates are awful when it comes to tech and computers.
  6. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 10:11 PM) How did you guys sit through that debate. It was god awful. After an hour I had to shut it down. It was so boring... Trump takes 100 words to say something he can say in 10 or 20.
  7. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Sep 26, 2016 -> 10:54 AM) How many people in that league? And is it for money? 10 and no. But people do try.
  8. Good to see Kevin White getting more targets.
  9. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 25, 2016 -> 09:24 PM) If I didn't need another reason to root against the Cubs, it's all this David Ross tribute s***. A career journeyman backup catcher, two years in Chicago, many fans thought a waste of a roster spot, but he is best buds with Theo and Lester, so treat him like Carlton f***ing Fisk. How David Ross has been a plus on offense this year is an absolute mystery to me.
  10. We came out way too conservative on offense. You can definitely run some of the deeper routes vs. Dallas. Their line doesn't bring a whole lot of pressure.
  11. Good to see the Bears at least trying some deeper routes.
  12. Hoyer makes Cutler look really good.
  13. Looks like Howard is now the preferred back.
  14. Bears aren't exactly getting any calls from the refs here.
  15. Where was the off-sides?
  16. Won the final by 200 points. 5 straight titles!
  17. Jacoby Glenn is really good at not getting pass interference penalties called against him.
  18. Absolutely devastating. One of the best pitchers in the game on track to possibly win the Cy Young this year. Condolences to his family and the Marlins. I wouldn't be able to handle such a loss if I were a player on the team. I'd be bawling my eyes out if I was a Marlins fan.
  19. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Sep 23, 2016 -> 02:43 PM) I'm a huge fan of Landry as I think Murray is too inconsistent. You are heavy with WRs though, but I think the Hopkins for Bell is not a good deal for you. Williams has been really good for the Steelers, so I don't think Bell will get a huge workload when he comes back. I'd target Elliot, Johnson for Hopkins He's healthy. At worst he gets 75% of the work load. Bell is probably the best RB in the NFL.
  20. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 22, 2016 -> 02:45 PM) Unheard of? Ever hear of Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire...oh wait He basically flipped a switch in the middle of the season. Those guys didn't do that, their transformation at least happened over an off-season. Dozier corrected something in his approach and became the most prolific power hitter in the AL somehow.
  21. Brian Dozier's splits are absolutely insane this year. He's hit 36 home runs since the start of June with a .676 slugging and .361 ISO. In April and May, he hit 5 homers with a .329 slugging percentage. Dozier's always had good power, but this kind of power surge is almost unheard of.
  22. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Sep 22, 2016 -> 09:33 AM) Pick one to start: DeVante Parker or Tajae Sharpe? Parker. Miami's playing Cleveland.
  23. Still waiting for my FIFA 17 EA Access trial to finish downloading...the download speeds on Xbox are freaking atrocious. I have gigabit internet and it's been 6 hours. Granted, it's 40 GB but still.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 20, 2016 -> 04:43 PM) Atlanta has been picked up for another season. Great show so far.
  25. Lost AP, backup was Langford. Now Langford looks like he lost his job. Wow...
