AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
I like how A.J. laughed when Steve Stone mentioned "walk" in the post-game interview.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Very good bounce-back after last night's terrible loss. Humber with a very good start. Win tomorrow and take the series.

Tying run at the plate. Oh jeez.

Felipe Lopez sure looked pissed when Sale tried to brush him back on the first pitch. He then hits a home run and b****es at A.J. What a dick.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:42 PM) He's had a history of having trouble closing out games including this year. So yeah, I've seen enough of Matt. He really hasn't.

Laptop Shopping
QUOTE (gatnom @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:36 PM) Actually, they are not wrong. A 32-bit processor can only see 4GB of RAM, whereas a 64-bit processor can see 8GB, so all you need to do to check how much RAM you can use is to check how many bits your processor can handle. I'd also like to reiterate that the most important thing for a typical user is to have lots of RAM, you'll get the best bang for your buck in terms of performance. A lot of the blame for this can be put on Microsoft for the way they made windows lately (and there are free alternatives to windows), but, honestly, if you're looking to get performance, you really shouldn't be buying a laptop. Desktop computers offer greater performance for a lower price. A 64 bit processor can technically see 2^64 bits of memory, that's 10^18 bytes. I think at this point, the most Windows will allow for RAM is something like 64-128 GB. But I doubt anybody will be putting in that much memory when they're not building a super computer. 32-bit is pretty much extinct at this point outside of netbooks and really low-end laptops.

Get a couple more runs so we don't have to waste anymore of our relievers. Even Tony Pena can get 3 outs with a 5 run lead.

Moral: throw B.J. Upton lots of sliders.

QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:35 PM) You don't think that Oz will throw Thornton out there again? Doubtful, since he threw 33 pitches last night. But with Ozzie, you'll never know.

That was the perfect pitch to a left handed hitter.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:31 PM) That's two walks for Alexei today. Mark Teahen, do your thing. That's about 10% of the walks he'll be getting this season. And come on Teahen, McGee had a lot of trouble finding the zone that inning and you swing on the first pitch?

QUOTE (qwerty @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:30 PM) So no one runs on contact with two outs anymore? Fuld got to it quick... but there are teams who score three there. Quentin was the guy on first. He's not all that fast.

QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:29 PM) I think that curve is the only real reason why, lol. The problem with him is that the curve never really materialized at the ML level (and even in the minors). He brought it out today though.

McGee's been a bit wild so far. Don't chase crap like you usually do A.J.

I guess they brought in McGee just to walk Quentin?

QUOTE (WinorDie88 @ Apr 9, 2011 -> 05:20 PM) No way Paul just chased that pitch That pitch pretty much changed the entire at bat. A 3-1 count would have gotten Konerko some nice fastballs to hit. Instead, he got fastballs out of the zone that he had to foul off because they were too close to take.

Maddon playing the numbers by bringing a lefty in. I bet Ozzie's sitting in the dugout laughing his ass off at such unconventional managing.

Conventional DP out of the question now. Jaso's not the best throwing catcher I take it.
