If Yoan fields that cleanly it's probably a double play. Just a weird play.

Damn Steve Stone referencing wRC+ and saying it really matters. Jason has changed him.

What the hell was the catcher doing mid-pitch?

Grandal up to .177. Maybe he can get close to .200 by the ASB. We really need it.

Yaz is the only one doing something in the lineup right now.

Eh he looked bad against Cleveland in Cleveland. He also didn't have it against Toronto but only gave up a run.

Yeah cause our offense flat out sucks right now. We haven't scored more than 5 in a week and a half.

Jason makes a good point about the pause in Kikuchi's delivery. The Sox really struggled against Anderson, who does something really similar.

Kikuchi used to be batting practice when he came to Seattle. Now he's throwing mid 90s and having success.

His spin rates were always bad. Not surprised he didn't use anything.

Rodon doesn't have the good slider right now. Couldn't put Crawford away.

I feel like Goodwin told TLR he's more comfortable in CF and that was good enough for Tony to keep putting him there.

Heyman: Sox interested in someone on some team. Nightengale: *nods*
I'm afraid Schwarber's hot streak and the Nats winning recently might mean he's not going to be available.

"sticky substances"
His spin rates were fine yesterday. Basically nothing changed from his yearly averages.

Lynn, Giolito, and Cease definitely did. The good thing is that only Lynn has looked bad without it, but he also didn't pitch against the Pirates. I thought Liam not losing any spin on his fastball yesterday was interesting, considering he lost a lot of it against Houston on Sunday, where he only threw 2 fastballs. Could just be a sample size thing.

Escobar hit a 441 foot bomb off Devin Williams today.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
I don't think you go from hitting like he did last year to being what he is right now in just 7 months. Plus he actually looked pretty good in May until that day he couldn't touch Skubal's fastball.

I really haven't seen Jose this worn down. He looks slow and sluggish at the plate. You have to wonder if him getting COVID before spring training might have something to do with it.
