Only problem with getting rid of Paul is that when Sandy Alomar inevitably falls apart on April 5th, we'll be stuck with only 1 catcher even remotely ready to handle major league pitching.

Uh, considering many thought we'd at least give up one of our blue chip prospects to nab Colon, I'm pretty glad that we were able to get him for no one that's not pretty replaceable. Worrying about the loss of Biddle while we get Colon is ridiculous.

Whoa whoa whoa... Let's not get ahead of ourselves. The fact remains that 2 years ago, he took a team that was coming off a 95 win season with an average age of 27.5 and turned it into a .500 ballclub in 2 years; and despite the fact that today he did add Colon (a great move, IMO), there are still holes and question marks surrounding this team. I won't criticize KW, for now, but I certainly won't forget previous blunders (Clayton, Alomar, Alomar (again), Ritchie, etc.) We're not the 2003 World Champs yet. Let's worry about beating Minnesota first, guys.

Sox get Colon, give Osuna and Delvis Lantigua to New York and Rocky Biddle, Jeff Liefer, and Orlando Hernandez (from the Yankees.. duh).
