  1. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 19, 2012 -> 07:19 PM) Its NCAA time, NBA can wait until April. I don't approve this messege. I think DRose being out is a blessing in disguise, this team knows it can compete with any team without it's MVP and their starting SG...how many teams can do that? If Miami loses 2 of their big 3, they ain't winning 9 of 13 games. This TEAM is a joy to watch.
  2. QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 05:24 PM) Hopefully the trailblazers don't get that new coach mojo vs us tonight. You called it.
  3. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 07:58 AM) D-Rose will likely miss an extended period... I could see that being anywhere from another 3-6 games. There's no sense in rushing a groin injury. Dude was sitting on a pad on Wednesday night so who knows. Can we rent Phoenix's training staff? I need health! You're right, let Rose heal, the Bulls have proven they won't fall apart without him and the Heat as good as they are, they aren't going undefeated the rest of the way.
  4. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 09:35 PM) The "best team in the NBA" won 1 game in the ECF with home court. This years team is, somehow, even less healthy and has 0 positive additions and once again must rely on a superhero performance from Rose to win in the ECF again. Hooooray bulls management. The Bulls problem last year was that they couldn't score enough points, they were #11 offensively while this year they are 3rd, they can score, they are 8-3 without Rose and just come off beating Miami... Let's not pretend Rose didn't suck last year in the ECFs. A healthy Bulls team with HCA beats Miami this time, the Heat are still flawed, they are top heavy and the rest of the team once you get past the Big 3 don't impress me.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 03:12 PM) However, we can be confident that people in Chicago will continue to blame the Bulls' GM for not getting a deal done for Gasol to help out the team this year. Whenever you trade with the Lakers, you should know you'll get the s***ty end of the deal, they do not trade fairly, that's for sure. f*** LA
  6. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 12:54 PM) The Hornets are going to buy out Chris Kaman, and we all know where he'll wind up. I don't understand why the f*** teams keep giving the Heat players. Kaman to the Heat is a very bad thing for the Bulls. They can afford him with those 3 big contracts?
  7. Ain't that the s***!! If the Bulls do beat Miami in the playoffs, this could be the game that convinced the Bulls that they can as a team beat a team with 2 superstars, 1 All-Star and the rest is garbage coached by a stiff... Anyways, so happy right now and a bit drunk. Da Bulls!!!
  8. I wonder if PJax would like to coach the Knicks, he's always wanted the job or are his coaching days def over, there are reports the Knicks will try to seek him out.
  9. While I agree with Steve that Lin shouldn't shoot so much, both Melo and Stat have sucked, both are having off years.
  10. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 14, 2012 -> 01:33 AM) Today might be the most depressing day it's ever been as a Magic fan. This team has beaten Chicago, Indiana and Miami all in a row, not too shabby. So we've shown than when Jameer Nelson is playing close to his best, this team can do some damage. And yet with Howard basically holding Rich Devos and Alex Martins to ransom daring em to "roll the dice", the chances of Howard getting moved before the deadline probably went up 20-30%, I can tell you the head honchos weren't pleased at all that Dwight commented publicly on that. Dwight doesn't want a Melo situation where the acquiring team gives up the farm for him (thank you very much James Dolan). And with the Ellis to MIL deal, there goes our leverage in trying to bring in another star to pair with Dwight. As much as I hate to say it, Brook Lopez and MarShawn Brooks are probably going to be Magic uniforms come Thursday, unless some other team such as HOU makes a better offer for a 2 month rental. And if so, 3-4 years of mid 30 win mediocrity await. SVG and Otis will probably both be gone after the season also. Not trying to nitpick but wasn't it worse losing Shaq? It really must be frustrating to lose 2 franchise players, hope he surprises us all and does stay in ORL as unlikely as it seems right now.
  11. Meh, let's be honest, the trade deadline will come and go and the Bulls won't be involved in a blockbuster trade. As someone already posted, the Bulls for some reason don't attract big time players, I have no idea why, if the Knicks or Celtics with that crap weather can attract players, why not Chicago? The Bulls are a marquee NBA brand, Chicago is one of the biggest markets in America, why the f*** can't we get elite players to come here? Thank God Jordan/Pippen/Kukoc/Rose/Noah/Deng were drafted and had no choice but to play here. We certainly wouldn't attract them as FAs/trades...Boozer was our biggest signing the last decade and a half, let that sink in. /rant
  12. The Bulls as currently constructed most likely will not beat the Heat, especially considering that they aren't going to be healthy this year...I say f*** it, roll the dice. KG, Noah and Gibson would murder Miami's frontcourt. PP has history of coming up big in the playoffs, just saying.
  13. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 12:00 PM) I thought Rose's deal was also $200 million? Let's face it folks, Simmons hit the nail on the head a while ago - stars these days want to be stars more than champions/legends of the sport. They're more concerned about their brand than the number of titles they have. Sad, but true. I read recently an article by Simmons where he says that Rose and Durant care about winning more than anything else, he really likes both those players.
  14. D12's first priority isn't about winning, that much is clear, if it's true that Adidas is against it, he could just tell them to f*** off...I don't think D12 will have trouble getting another lucrative shoe deal. Nike has no problem with Wade and LBJ in the same market.
  15. QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 03:09 PM) If someone makes a post that offers literally 0% insight into a topic, they deserve to have it called stupid. I expect the same type of treatment if/when I make those types of posts. Dude, don't even go there...you would post "Kevin.Love." and nothing else last season, how is that insightful?
  16. QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 02:37 PM) If someone is going to put that much effort into a post, they deserve to be called stupid. It was a stupid post that was taking aim at something they clearly didn't read/weren't interested in reading. It was stupid. edit: How many more times can I say stupid in the same post to get my point across? stupid stupid stupid All I'm saying is we can get our point across without insulting someone else' opinion, but whatever.
  17. QUOTE (Felix @ Mar 8, 2012 -> 02:28 PM) This post is very stupid. Congrats. We could do without the insults, thanks.
  18. Can we stop including Boozer in any trade talk? NOBODY WANTS HIM, WE'RE STUCK WITH HIM AND ANY POSSIBLE TRADE WILL PROBABLY INCLUDE ANY COMBINATION OF DENG, NOAH, GIBSON, WATSON OR ASIK AND PICKS. /rant
  19. I gotta disagree with you a bit chw42, LBJ does have a history of being clutch, but you are correct that recently he does seem to shy away from the moment. I think as a pure basketball fan, it's kind of frustrating to see LBJ being so passive in the waning moments of a ball game. As Bulls fans, we know LBJ can hit big time shots, he did it to us last year in the ECFs , not just once but numerous times. It also baffles me why LBJ doesn't just go low post in those situations, he'd abuse any one defender, you would need to throw a double team and Bron is an elite passer, he would pick you apart. If the Bulls/Heat play in the ECFs this year, I'm hoping LBJ will be the pass first out from behind the 3pt line on an ISO version, I'd rather have someone else other than James beat us. Haslem? Yes please!
  20. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Mar 7, 2012 -> 03:29 PM) Why? Because he doesn't want to be out $28 million to a quarterback who may never be effective again? In the coldest sense, it's his job to look out for the Colts and not for Manning. He did what was the best move for the franchise. Do you honestly think he wanted to get rid of Manning? http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=7656028
