The Lions have 37 pts right now, but take away the Cutler turnovers and the bad special teams plays and the D, though they given up alot of yards, weren't doing a bad job of keeping the Lions out of the end zone.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 22, 2013 -> 03:06 PM) Disagreed. Always nice to see divisional opponents struggle, a loss for both would be fantastic. (I of course am talking about the fact that both the Vikes and Pack are on TV here) How bout them Browns! ok, u got a good point, always great to see the Pack, Vikes and Lions lose...now we need to win tonight

Call me a meathead but Sunday day games without a Bears football game bores me to death.

This reminds me of the time J4L said DeAndre Jordan was gonna be an elite big. That was hilarious. This mancrush on Beasley is pretty sad.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 11:34 AM) I think really all Beasley offers the heat is a stretch-4 who can put it on the floor a little bit. Then again, with that team, they can pretty much put anybody anywhere and be successful They already have Bosh for that and Bosh >>> Beasley.

Oooh the Heat have Beasley and Oden, I'm scurrred! Not really, no one on the Heat scares me but LeBron. Take LBJ away and the Bulls beat them in 5, maybe even sweep.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 11:21 AM) Well into their pro careers? When did he say this? The year Rodgers busted out and was having a great season, he kept saying he'd still take Sanchez because at that point, Mark had a playoff win while Aaron had not. That was his reasoning. The guy's a moron.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 10:19 AM) Yeah, Cowherd was all about Sanchez leading up to the draft. He was wowed by Sanchez having the "it" factor. Everyone misses on quarterbacks...the Jets obviously did, and I am sure many other teams would have taken him early. He said he'd take Sanchez over Rodgers well into their pro careers, BTW. The guy's a moron.

To those who say Cowherd is intelligent, he said a few years ago that he'd take Mark Sanchez over Aaron Rodgers all day...and this is an NFL expert, lol

QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Aug 27, 2013 -> 02:44 PM) It's not the language, it's the total lack of respect for the people around her, the agents trying to do their job and protect her and so on. The disdain for people beneath her is just wrong. I bet she is a lousy tipper as well. s*** just got serious

What a pathetic Mexican National Team this current side is. Forget losing vs the US in American soil, that's understandable but not getting it done against, let's face it, crappy teams is what has sunk Mexico's chances at getting to the WC. What an absolute disaster if Mexico doesn't qualify. Hundreds of millions of dollars is what the FEMEXFUT, Mexican television and other business tied to soccer will lose down here...OTOH, la seleccion nacional doesn't grab the ratings they once did, I watched half of the game last night because I had other stuff to do and there was a lot of people in the streets going about their business. I remember a time in the 90s when I lived here where any game by the National Team would leave the streets empty and everyone glued to their TVs, looks like those days are long gone, people down here are mostly meh about this team. The Mexican soccer press is in full meltdown though

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Aug 28, 2013 -> 05:31 PM) I don't know why. If they can get just 15-20 minutes a game from Oden and have him healthy for the playoffs (I know, huge if) it's more over than ever. I know if was over three years ago. But he was beastin' on the boards and defensively in about 22 MPG. Everything else has gone right for the Heat the last 7-8 years. I'm sure this will, too. I'll eat my underware if Oden lasts the whole season...

QUOTE (farmteam @ Jul 24, 2013 -> 11:24 PM) The Bridge is moving along. Still liking it. I'm hooked on this show, it's gotten good reviews on metacritic and the show is supposed to take off after the 4th episode according to critics who got a private screening of the entire first season. - NBA Thread 2013-2014
