  1. Anyways, athleticism isn't the be all end all of basketball, Miami Heat>>>Mavericks on athleticism, how on earth did the beat Miami? 1986 Boston Celtics, maybe the best team ever, athletically challenged.
  2. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 25, 2011 -> 07:10 PM) DeAndre Jordan, Serge Ibaka, JaVale McGee, Joakim Noah. Which one doesn't belong? Noah is second-tier caliber athletic. The Bulls suck , have absolutly no shot at the NBA Finals...happy now?
  3. QUOTE (Papa Tru @ Dec 25, 2011 -> 03:38 PM) Man, the Heat are going to go 82-0 Okay J4L
  4. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 25, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) I've always liked Tyson but people thinking he takes the Knicks from a .500 team to a contender is insanity. The Celtics have 50 pts in the paint, so much for that Tyson clogging up the paint. Basically, when the Knicks face a team that can exploit Melo and Amar'e lack of defense, they'll put a lot of PFs on Chandler.
  5. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 25, 2011 -> 12:36 PM) http://deadspin.com/5871045/tnts-nba-forev...-is-spectacular Might be the best thing ever. I thought this comment was funny... DubaiAtNight Sun 25 Dec 2011 1:27 PM
  6. Even with Chandler, Knicks D still blows, no surprise there.
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Dec 23, 2011 -> 08:25 AM) Green Bay 34 Chicago 6 The Bears D valiently holds the Packers offense until late in the 3rd when all of the Bears offensive 3 and outs wears down the Bears D and the Pack pull away with 3 TDs in the 4th... Since I know what's going to happen, I will not ruin my Christmas and will just savor the Bulls beatdown of the Lakers from earlier that day. Merry Christmas Bears and NFL fans except Packer fans, screw you , jk Merry Christmas to you guys too!
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 01:16 PM) He didn't know how to use a time out or call a final play. The two most noticeable things a coach can do, vinny was atrocious at. This
  9. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 10:24 AM) What do we see in the east beside heat and bulls anyway? D'antoni is tone deaf when it comes to his players needs to stay healthy. Even though I hate him, I feel for Amare this year. He's going to get run to death. The Knicks would be dangerous if they had a defensive minded coach, they got some natural scorers, it's as if the Knicks FO thought, "well, we tried winning a title with defense during the 90s, that didn't work, so let's be the Phoenix Suns of the east".
  10. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 10:13 AM) To be fair I only see 3 title contenders in the NBA as a whole. Heat, Bulls and Thunder.
  11. I think the East is the better conference, you have a declining Lakers and Spurs, the Mavs in my opinion look like a 1 championship team, Thunder are legit and the Clippers will be improved but not sold on title contender just yet, Grizzlies can be a dark horse. I just feel the Heat or the Bulls can beat any team in the West in the Finals.
  12. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 07:44 AM) I have a friend who loves to make bets where he is getting odds. He offered to give me my pick of 4 teams to win the championship this year and he gets the field at 2:1 odds. 1) Is this a good bet for me? 2) If so, do I take the Heat, Bulls, Mavs, and Thunder or is there a team I'm missing? I'm not a betting man but that looks like a solid bet, the NBA title will belong to the winner of the Heat/Bulls match up IMO.
  13. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 22, 2011 -> 01:23 AM) I've seen enough. The Clippers are a legitimate championship contender. Oh my goodness. Forget about Blake Griffin for a second. What planet is DeAndre Jordan from? How can you be that f***ing athletic at his size? He, IMO, will be the second best C in basketball when it's all said and done. The Clippers are the new Showtime. lol Vinny Del Negro says hi DeAndre Jordan, second best C of his generation or all-time?With J4L's infamous hyperbole, can't tell which one.
  14. Good-bye Mr. Hanie, never want to see you in a Bears uniform ever again.
  15. The Lakers can't beat the Bulls without a 100% healthy beasting Kobe...sucks because I like when teams play each other at full strength.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 11:59 AM) Why would that matter? Gasol starts at center and Taj provides the D at power forward. That'll work, not like the NBA has a surpluss of scoring Cs.
  17. The article does say that Gasol wanted to retire as a Laker, maybe he's asking the FO for a trade like Odom, just not so publicly?
  18. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 11:50 AM) Hypothetical question: If the lakers asked for boozer + noah would you do it? Depends if Asik is ready to be starter, if he's not, no, if he is, I'll drive Noah and Boozer myself to O'Hare airport.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 11:29 AM) The Lakers would be insane to even consider something like that. I agree, but the Lakers gave away Odom for next to nothing so hopefully they are in a charitable mood
  20. According to Spanish magazine Marca, there are rumors about a Boozer/Korver for Gasol trade...use google translation since the article is in Spanish.I doubt it happens but if it does, that would be enough to put us over Miami IMO. http://www.marca.com/2011/12/21/baloncesto...1324465328.html
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 20, 2011 -> 11:27 PM) I agree that depth in the regular season, especially a condensed season, will be beneficial. But in the playoffs, when it's time to see LeBron, Wade and Bosh, that depth means next to nothing. The prerequisite J4L downer post for all us Bulls "homers"...lol
  22. QUOTE (iamshack @ Dec 21, 2011 -> 03:13 AM) And now we get to watch McCown on Sunday night! No we don't! NFL season is over for me, I'm watching the Bulls/Lakers and the other NBA games that day...
