QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 08:41 PM) If the Spurs get hot, this could become a blowout in the second half...ugh, Parker can't buy a bucket ......
-
This is exactly what I'm talking about, LeBron again being passive. What is stopping him from getting in the post, FFS? His team needs buckets and he's their best offensive player, WTF.
-
QUOTE (Boogua @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 08:38 PM) Hell, if he would have made one more free throw in game 6 they would have beaten Miami. They're just dismantling them this year. Or grabbed a defensive rebound...but then I think losing the way they did last has been the fire that's driving this team, so who really knows how it would've played out this year had they closed out Miami last year. Anyways, everyone here in San Antonio are so pysched out about getting some payback. I hope the Spurs get it done, I hate Miami.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jun 15, 2014 -> 08:11 PM) Manu turned back the clock Yeah, if Manu played like this last year, they would've beaten Miami.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 13, 2014 -> 12:34 PM) I'm messing with you. Didn't know it was a sensitive subject. Mexico going to win in spite of the refs. Too bad, I'm rooting for total ref catastrophe to ruin FIFA. You better prepare thy anus for Croatia/Mexico.
-
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 13, 2014 -> 12:18 PM) I'm Croatian. Root for Croatia. Root for America, the land of the mother f***ing free, first. Don't understand those who wouldn't. Calm down, bruh. I know many Craotian Americans that ONLY root for Croatia. Go take it that up with them. 1-0 Mexico
-
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 13, 2014 -> 12:08 PM) I will never understand why a US citizen would root for Mexico over the US. You do realize there are Irish Americans that root for Ireland, Italian Americans for Italy, Croation Americans for Croatia and so on and so forth. I don't come at you serious, we're cracking jokes, it doesn't really affect me wether Mexico wins or not really. I see you guys love making cracks about Mexico, I rarely speak up and when I do, seems that some can't take a little ribbing... Anyways, Mexico should be up comfortably but these refs are making NBA refs look competant. FIFA needs to use technology like the rest of the world, effing dinosaurs.

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Jun 13, 2014 -> 09:34 AM) Mexico's World Cup begins today. Unfortunately for them, they don't have Graham Zusi available to bail them out again. Fortunately for Team USA, when they end up with 0 points after group play, not a single f*ck will be given in the USA... Let's talk s***, I'm bored

My biggest beef with LeBron is that he's too damn passive. What exactly have the Spurs done to stop LeBron from having more games like did in GM 2? I just get the feeling he doesn't lay it all on the floor. Exert his will. You never got that feeling with MJ.
-
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 10:39 PM) I still don't understand why it's worse to lose in the finals for one's legacy than it is to lose any other time. Ask Wilt. Seriously though, it's the highest level, either you're good enough or you ain't. MJ is GOAT in my opinion because he refused to lose once he had the title within sight, sometimes on sheer will alone ve more talented teams. If LeBron had MJ's sheer will to leave everything on the floor, he'd be almost impossible to beat, he has everything to be on that level but he doesn't. I've seen both MJ and LeBron's career, it isn't the homer in me, MJ without question is the superior player, absolutely no doubt in my mind. That's why I laugh when J4L says it's 'a cloin flip' between them, or crap like MJ fans are 'worried' about LeBron.
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 10:35 PM) If only the Spurs made their free throws in game 2... Hopefully the Spurs can put this team away in game 5, because if they don't, I'd start to worry a bit. LeBron's great game in GM 2 saved the Heat from an embarrassing sweep.
-
QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 10:31 PM) Also, can we forget about LeBron being better than Jordan, like forever? This is a guy who was a miracle Ray Ray three from being 1-4 in the Finals. Meant to say this...

QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 10:19 PM) Seriously does anyone have j4l's contact info?? He hasn't been on, and I'm legitimately worried for his safety emotionally, mentally, and physically This Serious question, do any of J4L's predictions ever pan out? He was going on and on about Beasley and Oden and how dominating the Heat looked in a garbage conference...lol
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 10:13 PM) Pretty effortlessly too. So why hasnt he done that the last 4 quarters? Thats my point. He should have the ball every trip. Worse case he gets free throws or finds an open shooter. Because he doesn't have Jordan's mentality. If he did, he could be the GOAT, easily.

Classy Heat fans booing
-
Being constantly down and having to come back is mentally and physically draining, the Heat will make a run and could still win this game but I really believe the Spurs will win this series.
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 12, 2014 -> 09:18 PM) Bron Bron with another no show as his team is getting blown out. Take the ball in the post. You either score or get fouled 90 percent of the time. Why the hell wont you do it? He's scurred
-
The Spurs look closer to burying the Heat than the Heat making it a game.
-
Where's J4L to remind us how easily the Heat were gonna roll the Spurs? Every offesnsive possession by the Heat looks forced and sloppy while the Spurs are getting clean looks.
-
F*ck, Joey Crawford refs tonight's GM 4, Leonard and Spurs in quick foul trouble, Heat by double digits.
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 11, 2014 -> 07:22 PM) What a bunch of p*****s. If that happens, so long NBA. I won't watch another minute, and I hope everyone else does the same. I'd do the complete opposite and join J4L on dat Heat bandwagon. We da bess!!! You mad, bro?

Bulls make offer for KLove
MexSoxFan#1 replied to southsider2k5's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I also read some advanced stats that indicate he's not very good in close winnable games. He's a good #2, just not a superstar IMO. Then again, having bRicky scRubio as your best help... -

QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 9, 2014 -> 08:49 AM) I don't think significantly downgrading our C position to significantly upgrade our PF is what anyone on bulls would be looking for. We'd also be the first team to ever give up that much for a superstar. Love is hardly a "superstar".
