  1. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 10, 2014 -> 10:54 PM) Could easily be up 2-1 as well. I don't see how LeBron would stop the Spurs hot late game shooting in Gm 1, he's a great defender but come on. LeBron was part of the D that allowed that 70%+ Spurs first half
  2. Great game by LeBron. Anything less and the Spurs are up 2-0. These Finals are going the distance. Mario Chalmers is a P.O.S.
  3. So what's keeping the Spurs from turning the AC off? s***, I'd go full Red Auerbach on them...
  4. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 1, 2014 -> 03:05 PM) They did have a shot. LeBron was inconsistent up until he went HAM at the end of game 6. Wade was banged up and it showed. Bosh was inconsistent. Danny Green hit 4373472373 3's in the first 5 games. Leonard had a breakout series. Duncan went vintage 2004 the last two games. And they still lost. The Big three haven't played this well together at the same time since 2011, odd as that is. The Pacers now know they were lucky and fortunate to even go 7 games last year. And before you say, "haha, the pacers suck, the east sucks", keep in mind a healthy, locked in Heat smoked the most talented team in nba history two years ago without homecourt. They are again healthy and locked in. 2014 Spurs - may I introduce you to Karl Malone and the 1998 Jazz. In two weeks, one of us will have bragging rights
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 1, 2014 -> 08:53 AM) This. Those picking the Spurs are only doing so because they either hate the Heat or hate that LeBron is closing in on their hero. I haven't heard/read anything from the pro-Spurs crowd other than, "haha, the east sucks" and "homecourt, dude!". I've seen this movie before. Like Vogul said, LeBron is the Jordan of this era and the Heat are the Bulls of this era. Heat in 5. I hate the Heat, hated them since Riley and Zo. I don't hate LeBron, dude is awesome, best player of his era, he's just not on MJ's level. In 5-6 years we'll be laughing at how you thought he was better than MJ. Remember when some people thought Kobe would surpass MJ? That crowd disappeared. Time has a way of placing players in their rightful place when being a prisoner of the moment fades. This will be just as funny as your Knicks = title contenders prediction. One more thing, stop acting like the Spurs didn't have a shot last year.
  6. The Heat have looked 'dominant' because of the garbage conference they play in. Spurs have great ball movement, very good inside game and good shooters. Spurs in 6.
  7. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 27, 2014 -> 09:38 AM) Somethin' in the water this day. Another flat-out lie. I never said James was better. But as each game/series/year goes by, he gets that much closer. And you guys know it. LeBron's sportin' a 32.2 PER and a 67.1 true shooting% in the playoffs. That's not even a video game. That's somethin' else I can't even think of. You should just come out and say it already. You do think James is better, I don't. We have different opinions, I ain't being a homer when I say MJ from 89-93 is better than any version I've seen of James. Don't get me wrong, LeBron is a GOAT, there's no doubt. But he will be 30 and I firmly believe we are seeing him at his best, if he actually gets better when he's 31, 32, 33, we might have to check if he's really human because those are the years a player starts to slow down. I expect him to slow down. In his 30s he'll rack up totals but his peak/prime will be behind him. Peak MJ > peak Bron
  8. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 27, 2014 -> 09:40 AM) That's like me saying LeBron > MJ because LeBron never lost in the first round and MJ lost three times. MJ always made the playoffs as a Bull, LeBron missed them twice. BTW, MJ lost in the first round twice against Birds Celtics, pretty sure Bran isn't leading those Bulls over those Celtics either. Making the playoffs > missing the playoffs
  9. J4L is what we'd call in a NBA forum I go to a 'Bran stan', lol. Not saying him but they're pretty much considered a low BBall IQ fanbase.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 27, 2014 -> 09:27 AM) Alright. Maybe this will make you feel better. Sing it out loud if you have to. You're a grown ass man and you just told flat-out lie. I never said 4 final appearances "beats" MJ or makes him better. And yes, you are scared. A lot of you are. We're basically at flip a coin time now between the 2. And LeBron's not 30 yet. Lol. No. Stop it. MJ has the best PPG avg in the Finals. LeBron's Finals stats averages are inferior to his RS stats...meaning, MJ elevates his game in the Finals, James has a tendency to underperform. So who do I take? The guy who is 6-0 in the Finals never even needing a f*cking gm 7 or the dude who was one miracle Ray Ray trey from being 1-3? I'd take the sure thing but that's just me...
  11. Pretty funny how J4L is pretty much the only guy I know who watched both Jordan (allegedly) and James and thinks James is the better player. I talked/chatted with fans of other teams (Knicks, Lakers, Celtics, Heat, Cavs etc) who watched both players in their prime and almost universally they say Jordan was the superior player. Making it four straight on itself is an impressive feat but I'm pretty sure that if you put Shaq/Kobe Lakers in the EC in place of this Heat these last four years, they also get there four straight. Who's gonna stop them? The Lakers had great competition, the Spurs, Kings and Blazers were better teams than any team this Heat have beaten in this four year span. And are we just going to ignore that the reason Bulls never made it four straight was because Jordan retired and then Jerry was to cheap to keep the dynasty going? But whatever, da Heat are da bess! Make way in that bandwagon! I'm jumping in!
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 27, 2014 -> 06:35 AM) Fact: The Bulls never went to the finals 4 times in a row Fact: Shaq/Kobe never went to the finals 4 times in a row Soon to be fact: The Heat will have went to the finals 4 times in a row That's all I said. You can throw out as many hypothetical what ifs as you want. Y'all must be scared out of your minds that LeBron might just eclipse MJ.
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 23, 2014 -> 07:20 AM) It's really neither here nor there but saw it on twitter and thought it was great: Lol
  14. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 23, 2014 -> 04:43 PM) So Ibaka might play in game 3 on Sunday. Ok than. I don't think he would've made that much of a difference in those two beatdowns in San Antonio TBH.
  15. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 23, 2014 -> 04:07 PM) There's not liking a team and then there's irrational, whiney, crybaby, my gf dumped me for a better looking dude, bitter, lame ass nonsense. Whenever a player gets hurt, it only matters if said player is playing the Heat at the time. Whenever it's time to b**** about the refs, it's ONLY when the Heat are playing. LeBron get a call and it's "OH MY GOD! IT'S 8 VS 5" EVERY f***ING GAME. Michael Jordan fans are the last fans are earth that should b**** about referees and superstar calls. #sHUTup #TryHard You might've missed it but we were complaining about the refs in that Clippers/OKC gm 6 but yeah, right on point there dude.
  16. Just want to remind everyone here that the Bulls have the third most NBA titles, only behind legendary franchises Boston and Los Angeles... Maybe in the next 30 years we'll luck into the next GOAT
  17. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 22, 2014 -> 04:30 PM) Man, some of y'all need to get some Heat therapy or something. Ibaka is out and you don't see, "f***! s***! damn! Another lucky break for the Spurs!" I dislike the Heat because they're a rival of the Bulls. Somebody else mentioned it, I now have to like Rodgers and the Packers? Miguel Cabrera had an amazing season last year, I can't dislike him and the Tigers now? GTFOH
  18. Paul George suffered a concussion. Goddam it, every effing year an important player on the opposing team is out or gets injured against the Heat in the playoffs
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 18, 2014 -> 08:13 PM) If I were in Vegas, I would see what the odds of Miami winning the next four games is, and bet on it. And I would gladly take your bet. The Heat are just not as good as they were, yeah I think they'll take this series because LeBron will drag his team to the Finals but this is going 6. Although if Indy does push it to 7 (big if), the home team almost always wins
  20. QUOTE (scs787 @ May 20, 2014 -> 01:22 PM) Ya, I really think one of Taj or Mirotic would have to go in a deal for Love. With Rubio running the point I think Mirotic might be a good pair with him and someone they'd like to have. Ideally something like something like Mirotic/Boozer/Butler/2 1R picks for Love/Brewer and they sign and trade Dante Cunningham to cover the difference (Boozer/Butler add up to ~18.9 Love/Brewer is ~20.4). Or perhaps a sign and trade for some scrub like AJ Price/Chris Johnson/Robbie Hummel Where is our resident TWolves fan to weigh in on this? Forget who it is. Felix is slitting his wrists as we speak.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 14, 2014 -> 12:15 AM) Is Knox a murderer or not? The case has been decided a few times now. What do you say Soxtalk people? Is she a murderer?? I don't know if she was involved in the actual murder but I do believe she had something to do with it. Just too many inconsistencies (lies) and changing their stories. Pretty messed up that it's come down to nationalism, Italians and Brits believe she's guilty while Americans think she's innocent.
