Fathoming Bauer not securing a job anywhere?
soulfly replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
They would probably have to eat almost that entire salary. Don't give JR any ideas. If he hears about a free pitcher, this turd will be pitching for the Sox. -
No, I'm not. At all. I've said more than a few times, it's us the fans that get fucked. I want the owners to make less. That means charging fans less to go to the games. I am not pro owner, by any means.

The next player proposal should just say "fire Manfred".
-
Hey, you're pro player. Good for you. I don't need to check myself as I said it's the fans that ultimately end up paying with their wallets for all this. I'm sure the players appreciate your support though. After all, you are prepared to make the tough decision to sit this one out. Hope you don't die from it though!

For the guys trying to make it to the show, that sucks. The minor league pay and system sucks. They get hosed. But seriously, fuck all the guys making over 400k a year bitching they don't get paid for spring training. I can guarantee the vast majority of the guys trying to make the big league roster would gladly take no pay for spring training to be on the big league club to get that pay for the season. It's only once the guys get there that it becomes an issue. Funny how that works. The simple fact is, players get paid too much. Owners charge far too much to go to the games, make a killing and still cry poor. But it's the fans that get screwed. Everyone picking a side between the players and owners, when the fans are the ones that get bent over just for enjoying a game.

You don't have players without owners and you don't have owners without fans. It's a big circle. Right or wrong on either side, the longer it drags out, the worse it is for the game. Players get paid too much, owners make too much money and the fans pay too much to go to the games.

Or maybe Fields just winds up being Mitch 2.0. The Bears are always going to Bears it up. If Harbaugh does sign with the Vikings and the Bears passed on him to bring in a no name DC coordinator, oof. Just sell the fucking team already to someone willing and able to spend the money.

Who holds the copyright on HoT FirE or whatever dumb capitalization that had?
-
Only a goon would know to make that reference...
-
Go look at Trubisky's first year and it looks eerily similar to Fields.

Bing Crosby - White Christmas Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song Elmo & Patsy - Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer Nothing better.

Eddie Jackson is absolute garbage.

This might just be the most times I have ever seen liar, lying or lies typed in a post. Second only to your previous post. Impressive. Most impressive.

Have a feeling it's for way too much money. This is the most White Sox shit ever. Hahn saying to the Tigers, hey, I can sign big time players too!

Can't buy that $109.95 12 gauge double barrel Remington when you only have $50 to spend.

Really, the loss doesn't really help the team. The 1st rounder is gone anyways, without that, the only real incentive to lose is to get Nagy out the door quicker. But it seems he lives to see another day. Now, if they still had next years 1st, I would say hell yea, lose to the worst franchise in the league and hope that every head in the FO rolls tomorrow. Sigh. What could have been.
-
Lol at having Santos try a 66 yarder. It had a 0% chance. You have to take a shot at the end zone there. Not likely to score, but still a higher % than trying to kick that field goal. Man Nagy is so bad.

Cool, can't wait to see Kopech throw like 60 innings next year and still need another starter anyways. Unless they are planning on Lopez and Kopech splitting starts.

Basically this sums it up. We are worse off now than we were last year. Team got more expensive with the players we have, plus some big holes to fill. The only way they are filling those holes is trading someone (Eloy) or going balls to the wall payroll wise. One of those seems far more likely than the other.
-
Big oof. Trades are a comin'.
-
This is awesome. Fuck Facebook.
-
Oh, so you think he took a horse de-wormer too, huh?
-
Great trade by Hahn.

Amazing how average the Astros hitters looked for the most part in the World Series. An absolute shocker compared to how they looked the previous two series. I'm shocked I tell you.

I never said I was pro chop. So I'm not sure why you quoted me on that, but I'm agreeing here. I was merely pointing out it wasn't just one group of people doing it. To be totally honest, you know what is actually worse than the chop? The chant they do along with it. It's all you could hear when watching the game when they were playing at home.
