  1. He's signed. It's just not announced. Guessing it's $900K
  2. Yes. With the 5% overage, they have $12,777,555 to spend and they've spent $11,844,600.
  3. Sox have $932K remaining with just Kyle Lodise left to sign. Sox staff really believes in his ability to hit and all his batted ball data.
  4. Heard there’s no trade. Whatever that means.
  5. 4th rounder is overslot and 11th for sure. 7-10 all way under.
  6. I mean Jeremy Haber was a supposed leak to many anonymous White Sox Twitter accounts so this is kind of funny actually.
  7. It’s stupid. He’s not rookie eligible. He isn’t a prospect. I don’t know why BA ignores 45 days active. It makes no sense. He’s fine. Might be a couple weeks but he’s fine. I can’t share more than that
  8. This list is terrible. There’s no world in which Caleb Bonemer is a better prospect than Billy Carlson. Thorpe isn’t prospect eligible anymore and there are too many relievers on here. McDougal and Oppor both firmly top 10
  9. They play basically backfield scrimmages in Arizona.
  10. They have to be over. I doubt Carlson is signing for $800K underslot. I'm guessing in the $5.8-$6 million range.
  11. Perfect time for a Shane Smith IL stint. He's approaching his career high in innings pitched.
  12. McDougal is Rule 5 eligible. He's a must keep which is why I'm expecting him to be on the White Sox 26 man to close out the year. He comes to spring training with the goal of winning a big league rotation spot with a host of others.
  13. They'll do some sort of orientation but rookie ball is over this week. We won't see the high school picks but the others probably end up in Kannapolis. I'm in the hotel room haha. Not leaving for game until like 4 and it seems like it's insane because of a Mac Miller bobblehead giveaway.
  14. Signing all 20. Most are reporting tomorrow. I expect a Carlson announcement on Tuesday.
  15. He’s on an innings limit and likely finishes in Chicago.
  16. Garrett Guest is high up at a Jeep Dealership and he’s Sox assistant director. People implied that Harold was Guest or at least knew him. It’s just fucking uncalled for regardless.
  17. 7th as was said already. Exactly SS2K. Large market clubs can only have a top 6 pick every other year. Small market clubs can’t 3 years in a row. But since the 3 worst teams are guaranteed to pick no later than 7-9, it pushes the ineligible teams to 10 and beyond.
  18. I really miss Harold. Was really helpful for me and informative. I think fucking losers on this site finally chased him away. It’s a real shame if so.
  19. A new record would still be significantly under slot. #1 slot will be like $11.5 million next year. Biggest bonus ever is $9.2 million. They could give him $10 million, demolish the record and save $1.5
  20. It's pretty rare for true college shortstops to end up going because those guys generally get chosen out of high school. Phil Fox has always been a bullpen arm.
  21. You need to ignore the rounds essentially and look at the draft by bonuses. The Rhode Island hitter in the 7th plus the 9th and 10th rounders are seniors. Those guys are priority senior signs with some value but once bonus pools come out, I’m guessing those are really their 18th,19th and 20th picks.
  22. I think Uli Fernsler or Brandon Shannon is more likely but Fisher would be awesome
  23. It’s an important thing. If guys don’t give a s%*#, it’s tough to become really good in most cases.
  24. Sounds like this will be a prep arm at 106
  25. He’s #2 overall at BA. He’ll be the #1 prospect in baseball as soon as Roman Anthony graduates
