  1. I pay into it bi-weekly. Hopefully Illinois politicians don't spend it all before I retire.
  2. If teacher’s unions have this much power, I should make way more money.
  3. My wife and I are going to the Saturday and Sunday games and staying overnight Saturday.
  4. They got Comp B picks from Seattle and TB. Great haul.
  5. Promised is strong here. He’ll compete as a starter in spring. I’d be pretty surprised if he’s not in the bullpen though. It’s his best role.
  6. I have no issue with him being mad
  7. Frank is mentioned on the graphic. It's just Dick Allen's photo.

Well it doesn't really matter now but it was a top 15ish pitching prospect from Boston and a back end top 30 one from White Sox

Think something like: White Sox get Jordan Hicks, pitching prospect and $5 million, Red Sox get pitching prospect.
  10. The AJ/Jenks bobblehead is cool but that’s Easter Sunday
  11. Your source is good. Sox were going to take back Hicks and receive a pitching prospect from Boston in like 10-15ish range. Sox were only giving back a back end top 30 pitching prospect. There were some medical issues. Don’t think this one is happening.
  12. I’m with you on this
  13. It’s actually the opposite. The new Pohlad owner wants to win without spending anymore money and the baseball people know it isn’t possible. Falvey got out before he could ultimately get fired.
  14. They aren't trading one of their core young guys to my knowledge. I also have no idea if a deal is actually close. I just know that they've talked to Boston. I wouldn't really consider it to be major though. The poster earlier could be referencing something else.
  15. They were both similarly ranked players out of high school.
  16. Not Quero or anyone that significant. Read the article from McCaffrey at The Athletic. She just posted something about what the Red Sox are up to.
  17. Boston is the right team from what I've heard. Can't share much more than that.
  18. I wouldn't. Cholowsky is a no doubt shortstop and I don't think Bonemer stays there.
  19. Definitely ongoing talks. Not sure how major it’d be considered though.
  20. The Sox have nothing on the books going forward. If Murakami is good, I don’t see any reason why they couldn’t sign him. It’s still a 1B/DH. You’re looking at inflation on a deal like Pete Alonso possibly. I think Sox will do stuff like that from 2028 on etc.
  21. Yeah because he’s a shortstop and he’ll play every day. Shortstops like this don’t end up in college.
  22. I’m thinking 3B or outfield is more likely than 2B for Bonemer.
  23. Who is this in reference to? I do think Cholowsky is the best college shortstop since Tulowitzki.
  24. Keith Law just had a pretty glowing write-up on Hagen Smith. Towards the end of the season, he looked like the guy from Arkansas. Noah Schultz was pitching injured all year. Both still have top of the rotation upside and should be in the majors by Juneish. Tanner McDougal has ridiculous stuff and he's basically big league ready as well. Christian Oppor isn't far behind. The Sox also have back end options throughout the system and Ky Bush, Mason Adams, Drew Thorpe should all be options by midseason. They'll likely need to spend on pitching at some point but they have some pretty high upside dudes. It's a big year for them.
