  1. Yeah I understand this in hindsight. I don’t actually believe that they should’ve traded him in the real world after 2023 though. I can’t get there.
  2. What would you have needed in return for him coming off his 2023 season?
  3. I just don’t agree with this. In hindsight, absolutely. Trading 4 years of Robert coming off that season would’ve been tough to do imo. I just don’t think this player exists at this deadline. I wouldn’t be surprised if they take pitching in return. They need to take the best talent offered.
  4. I hope it is Vientos. The dude was legit good in 2024 and mashed in the actual playoffs. I think it's a better return than what they ultimately could end up with unfortunately. The Sox need power.
  5. I like Vientos. Great project for Fuller to take on. Sox need power.
  6. Fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
  7. For those interested, I wrote 4,000 words on the White Sox draft for FutureSox. Here you go: https://www.futuresox.net/2025/07/26/white-sox-prioritize-bats-in-2025-mlb/
  8. He’s signing for $10K
  9. White Sox will have the lowest payroll in baseball for 2026 once they trade Robert. It’s literally Benintendi and arb and pre arb players.
  10. Nope. Jeremy Haber got fired so info is pretty dried up.
  11. He's signed. It's just not announced. Guessing it's $900K
  12. Yes. With the 5% overage, they have $12,777,555 to spend and they've spent $11,844,600.
  13. Sox have $932K remaining with just Kyle Lodise left to sign. Sox staff really believes in his ability to hit and all his batted ball data.
  14. Heard there’s no trade. Whatever that means.
  15. 4th rounder is overslot and 11th for sure. 7-10 all way under.
  16. I mean Jeremy Haber was a supposed leak to many anonymous White Sox Twitter accounts so this is kind of funny actually.
  17. It’s stupid. He’s not rookie eligible. He isn’t a prospect. I don’t know why BA ignores 45 days active. It makes no sense. He’s fine. Might be a couple weeks but he’s fine. I can’t share more than that
  18. This list is terrible. There’s no world in which Caleb Bonemer is a better prospect than Billy Carlson. Thorpe isn’t prospect eligible anymore and there are too many relievers on here. McDougal and Oppor both firmly top 10
  19. They play basically backfield scrimmages in Arizona.
  20. They have to be over. I doubt Carlson is signing for $800K underslot. I'm guessing in the $5.8-$6 million range.
  21. Perfect time for a Shane Smith IL stint. He's approaching his career high in innings pitched.

McDougal is Rule 5 eligible. He's a must keep which is why I'm expecting him to be on the White Sox 26 man to close out the year. He comes to spring training with the goal of winning a big league rotation spot with a host of others.
  23. They'll do some sort of orientation but rookie ball is over this week. We won't see the high school picks but the others probably end up in Kannapolis. I'm in the hotel room haha. Not leaving for game until like 4 and it seems like it's insane because of a Mac Miller bobblehead giveaway.
  24. Signing all 20. Most are reporting tomorrow. I expect a Carlson announcement on Tuesday.
  25. Y2Jimmy0 replied to BamaDoc's topic in FutureSox Board
He’s on an innings limit and likely finishes in Chicago.
