2025 MLB Draft
I have Daniel Pierce in my mock draft this week. Billy Carlson would be a dream scenario. I wonder if they’d go overslot to float him down.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Not possible. He has no options. This was just never realistic unfortunately. Chris Getz in his first offseason as GM wasn’t going to be able to get value for 4 years of Luis Robert coming off a career year. It is unfortunate though.

Ryan Galanie
He’s a first baseman imo and hits right handed. He needs to absolutely mash or he’s probably just nothing unfortunately.

2025 MLB Draft
I don’t trust any hitters from Wake Forest. Houston will stay at shortstop but I just don’t think he’ll impactful offensively. They did this in 2023 already. Take a prep hitter unless someone falls.

2025 MLB Draft
Barring someone falling, I wouldn’t be surprised to see $11 million spent on top 3 picks. $6 million at 11, $3 million at 44 and $2 million at 76.

2025 MLB Draft
I meant that he can really hit but can't play shortstop

2025 MLB Draft
Can he really hit but won’t play shortstop

2025 MLB Draft
McDaniel had Rays taking him at 37 in his mock today.

Miguel Castro "right knee soreness"
The only money that can be traded is from current period. They had $543K left and traded $500K to Houston. They needed the cash for the player they signed a couple weeks back.

What's the bullpen solution (knowing JR will never spend here)...?
Odds get reconfigured. So the bottom two teams, Sox and Pirates right now have 22% odds at #1 pick and 3rd team is Baltimore with 17%. Rockies will pick 10th no matter what and Angels and Nats likely 11-12.

Some good news (we hope)...
I’d feel much differently if he didn’t already have Tommy John.
-
Some good news (we hope)...
I meant that his mechanics were off from what they were like before. Soreness was definitely a concern but he's fine
-
Some good news (we hope)...
He was flying way open in his delivery and his stuff wasn't as good. That's why he needed to go to Arizona for biomechanics work. They didn't have an issue with delivery otherwise

2025 MiLB Catch All thread
He’s not injured though. MRI was clean and he’s pain free. White Sox believe that mechanics caused the elbow soreness.

Luis Robert trade thread: La Pantera stays.
Who is Jim Riley? Also, I doubt that the Padres could take on Luis Robert’s salary.

2025 MiLB Catch All thread
He’s not hurt. Having some mechanical issues
-
Liam Hendriks getting treated terribly
We could at least spell the man’s name correctly.
-
2025 International signings thread
Of course not but that’s the name of the game. I don’t think he takes the job unless he has the ability to do what he wants.

2025 International signings thread
David Keller referenced finding impact talent that the club doesn't have access to in free agency as part of international strategy. They'll be going after kids. The biggest issue is that deals are basically signed through 2028 already.

Some good news (we hope)...
They think it’s mechanical. We’ll see if they’re right
-
Some good news (we hope)...
He already had TJ.

2025 MLB Draft
I think the interest is definitely real and they know him well. My issue is that I think Sox go under at 10 and pay $3 million or so at 44 and I wouldn’t give Fauske that type of cash. They can do better than that.

Free Tim Elko (Back in Jail)
I'm guessing it's Elko down, Palacios DFA, Tauchman and Benintendi back. Lee optioned to AAA
-
2025 MLB Draft
I don’t think Doyle is a real option and he’ll be gone. Billy Carlson would be a dream. I think they’d prioritize Parker, Pierce over Cunningham at this point. Not in this class
-
Slater back, Baldwin to Charlotte
He’s also not ready. Just hasn’t logged many hours as a catcher in general. Sox would be foolish to call him up at this point until it’s less than 45 days. They’ll want to leave him ROY eligible in 2026. It’s an infielder playing the outfield but Baldwin has to be able to play a solid outfield or he’s not a big leaguer imo. He has to play a super utility role.
