  1. Nothing will happen. Sox won’t say anything about the deal. It’s just journalists technically.
  2. When dId his stuff regress? He looked good in last two starts after returning.
  3. Rockies, Angels, Cardinals and Nationals
  4. If that’s true, it’s a massive problem. It’s not an offseason decision. It’s a July decision.
  5. Getz flat out said in the Garfein podcast that the injury doesn’t change their plans.
  6. Huh? They won’t get nothing for him. Disagree. Not picking up the option would be stunning and the exact opposite of everything the GM has been saying publicly. I really don’t think it’s non-zero. If it was, they would’ve traded him for essentially the Cedric Mullins return.
  7. If they traded him in July, we would’ve killed them for what the return would’ve been. This is the better path.
  8. You might be right. The CF market is really bad though. I'm not sure what happens but they'll pick up the option. Correct
  9. I can't believe that this is still a talking point. The Luis Robert decision was made in July. Once they didn't trade him for whatever they could, picking up the option became a necessity. If they weren't picking it up, they would've traded him for a very underwhelming Cedric Mullins type return. Declining Robert's option at this point would be a fireable offense. They're already committed. It wasn't a "see what happens and then decide" because the front office needed to make a decision on his future by 7/31 and they did so by not trading him. I don't know if he'll actually be on next year's team but I'd be absolutely stunned if they declined his option and made him a free agent.
  10. I assumed that they wouldn’t pick up the option. Once they decided to not trade him, my opinion changed. They can’t and won’t lose him for nothing. I’d be stunned if they declined the option now and it’s a fireable offense if they did.
  11. I just don’t think Robert will be on the next really good Sox team. They just need to cash him in for something that might be
  12. They’ll pick up the option and try to trade him this winter. If there was any chance of not picking it up, they would’ve traded him in July. This whole thing isn’t this complicated.
  13. Arizona Bridge League
  14. Pool should be around $6 million. These are very likely still Marco Paddy signings.
  15. I’m wondering if they’ll expose them to waivers and then move on if nobody claims them.

Or what happens in the draft year after a full college season is generally meaningless in regards to who succeeds and who doesn’t. He did struggle in two tiny samples on the Cape though.
  17. It’s really hard to rank non leverage relievers. Palisch is an up and down potential starter. Dalquist and Kelley are def relievers. I don’t know. Ranking 50 guys was difficult
  18. BA has them at 18.
  19. Older undrafted college guy. Just need to see it longer and at higher levels. Guys like him carve in Low A

Different baseball, ABS system and veteran hitters.
  21. Here’s the full top 30 list: https://www.futuresox.net/2025/08/13/futuresox-2025-mid-season-white-sox-c/
  22. It looks right to me?
  23. I couldn’t justify Bonemer over Carlson in our FutureSox discussions. Bonemer just isn’t the same level of prospect imo. Bonemer has done it at Low A but he’s more similar to Fauske.
  24. Here is 16-30 on FutureSox list: https://www.futuresox.net/2025/08/12/futuresox-2025-midseason-white-sox-pr/
  25. They’re both Paddy guys. Yobal Rodriguez is the first true Keller guy.
