Grade this year's trade deadline
I would accept it and try to trade him. I think they should be spending a lot more money though regardless. If his $15 million stops them from doing something else, they need to decline it probably.

Grade this year's trade deadline
I'm always a process over results guy. The trade deadline was fine. It just didn't work out. The value was fair and the targets were the right guys.

ALDS Game 2 - Chicago @ Houston - 1:07pm CDT
Of course not. They took the best offers but teams also don't want players who don't want to be there. This stuff matters at the deadline.

Kimbrel wanted to stay in Chicago because of family reasons.

White Sox-Astros Game 1 3:07 Start Time
It shouldn't be cancelled. It should be called Indigenous People's Day though.

Geyser Cepeda Defects 23U Cuban National Team
I hadn't heard of him before Jesse Sanchez's write up but it's exactly the type of signing they should be making every year. I'm told it's about $1 million.

Geyser Cepeda Defects 23U Cuban National Team
White Sox are in a weird spot. They should have somewhere in the neighborhood of $5.3 million to spend. $3.7 million of that is committed to Oscar Colas and Erick Hernandez. They should have just over $1.5 million to play with and they likely have some signings already in the $400-$600K range that I don't know of.

The draft order doesn't change. It goes by regular season record.

YouTube TV & NBCSChicago...Ugh!
This just isn't true though. I was paying like $200-$230/month for the triple play with Comcast. And I paid for Prime and Netflix anyway. Now I do Comcast internet, youtube tv and the Hulu/Disney/ESPN bundle along with Netflix and Prime and it's much cheaper still.

Gio back, Collins up, Mendick and Seby down
Well I think they thought that Zavala was more useful. Now they're bringing back Collins because Seby stinks too and it preserves Collins' option status and makes him much easier to trade this offseason

Gio back, Collins up, Mendick and Seby down
Collins needed to return so that the White Sox could preserve his option status. He didn't spend 20 days in the minors so the option doesn't count. He'll have an option remaining coming into the 2022 season now.

You're excited for him to get to stateside? Was he promoted and I missed it?

I don't think Yermin plays another game for the White Sox

I'd assume so. Maybe Kyle Crick gets a look.

It's FutureSox Top 30 week!
I've always been skeptical of Rodriguez's plate approach. He's super aggressive. I need to see it not get exposed at higher levels before I move him in front of the pitchers. Those are just my personal feelings though.

8/25 Games
I put him in our just missed. Back end starter potential

8/25 Games
White Sox claimed him on waivers this past offseason and then outrighted him before the season.

This is one of the absolute worst takes I've ever seen on this website and that says a lot.
