Collins needed to return so that the White Sox could preserve his option status. He didn't spend 20 days in the minors so the option doesn't count. He'll have an option remaining coming into the 2022 season now.

I've always been skeptical of Rodriguez's plate approach. He's super aggressive. I need to see it not get exposed at higher levels before I move him in front of the pitchers. Those are just my personal feelings though.

I don't think they have the money to land Prieto because they're committing $2.7 million to Oscar Colas and only have just over $5 million to spend. It is what it is. The White Sox don't have the 40-man space to protect him this winter any way and he likely gets taken in the Rule 5.

The Mets still should've signed him because that's a bargain but no way Kumar would've taken slot. The guy that got screwed was Jud Fabian. He was asking for $3 million. Baltimore was going to take him and pay him $3 million. Boston drafted him and offered him just under $2 million. He turned it down and now has to return to Florida. That really sucks.
