April 1, 20224 yr Garret Crochet was removed from the March 31 game against the Reds with arm trouble. Put any updates in here.
April 1, 20224 yr Not good. Amazing how bad that draft is looking if this ends up being worse case scenario.
April 1, 20224 yr Ughhhh. Guess now this makes Rick overinvesting in relievers look a little better? Hopefully nothing serious.
April 1, 20224 yr Based on the description the Reds radio gave, I will be pleasantly surprised if he pitches this year.
April 1, 20224 yr Basically no young pitcher who throws that hard makes it all the way through without needing TJS. It is what it is.

April 1, 20224 yr He's never getting out of the bullpen now. If only the Sox could have restrained themselves in 2020.

April 1, 20224 yr Ugh, felt like TJS was inevitable for him, I just didn't expect it to be this soon. Seems like he's gonna stay a reliever.

They've taken four lefties who were relievers or profiled by scouts as relievers in the first round, Royce Ring, Aaron Poreda and Crochet. Of course, the other was Chris Sale.

The AT will typically do a couple of tests to see what may be going on. He just talked to him for an extended period of time then left.
April 1, 20224 yr Would be nice to have Jace Fry back, but we'll just have to wait and see how Sousa does. Another option would be Keuchel in the second half. Edited April 1, 20224 yr by caulfield12

Still waiting for the official statement It's the White Sox, so we pretty much have come to expect nothing short of amputation, avascular necrosis or the need for new surgeries yet to be invented...although Andrew Vaughn seemingly bucked that trend. April 1, 20224 yr He was hurt in 2020 after throwing 7 innings. This was inevitable IMO. Making him a starter was always a pipedream , but he can still be very valuable in the bullpen if he can stay healthy. Edited April 1, 20224 yr by Dick Allen
April 1, 20224 yr https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/10/previewing-the-2021-22-free-agent-class-left-handed-relief.html Can always try to coax Andrew Miller out of recent retirement and spend even more on the pen…as a former Cardinal, will automatically get a courtesy look.
