  1. This is just straight up dumb. We all watch the games and can point to numerous things Tony has done wrong this year. We don’t need to be in the clubhouse to witness poor in-game decision making. Also, there have been reports of some clubhouse tension as result of Tony beyond the public ripping of a top rookie. You keep using “decades of experience” as a free pass for him to whatever he wants and it being ok, which is also incredibly dumb given how much the game has changed since he last managed. Tony La Russa is objectively a bad manager at this stage of his career. Unless you can cite some actual good things he’s done, then please stop defending him because your current defense is quite embarrassing.
  2. Marshall & Ruiz are out of options, so Foster is probably more likely at this time. That being said, it wouldn’t be a bad time to send down Crochet and get him some actual innings. He’s on pace for ~43 innings this year which means there is zero chance he‘ll be a starting pitching option until 2023 at the very earliest.
  3. I’m peacing out before I blow up...pray Kopech is alright though
  4. Let’s have him prove himself against RHP before we talk about moving him up in the lineup.
  5. Huge to stop the losing streak at three. Now we just need Giolito build up some momentum and make this two in a row. Flaherty is going tough as hell though.
  6. I really hope they can extend him after the season
  7. Go Bummer & then Liam. Get these guys some consistent work.
  8. Exactly. I mean the dude was completely undermined and to fathom’s point, the press conference looked like Hahn was under gunpoint. La Russa was the single worst possible outcome for Hahn from an organizational influence perspective and to think he was aligned with the hire is crazy.
  9. I think you made the right call with Crede...lol
  10. You can debate the Eaton signing, but it’s all but fact that Hahn was not down with the La Russa hiring. No idea why you would think otherwise.
  11. It really does feel that way, thank god we don’t have to see how fate would have played out this time
  12. I’m terrified to see what Tony does in response to be out-managed by this guy, as it’s umpossible to be better than Shildt
  13. Vaughn wasn’t going to let the game fall into the hands of Lucky Leury and the slap factory
