Stiever the only announced starter so far.

Sox rotation so far
I said it in the offseason, but the amount of low hanging fruit under Cooper was incredible and just getting any modern pitching coach in place would likely to pay major dividends. Obviously there is more than just that with Rodon, but it’s clear as day Don was holding us back in recent years.

May 4th Games
He’s always been tooled up, but has never really put it together. Definitely one of the more ingesting guys on Winston-Salem.

May 4th Games
He did hit 16 HRs in AA back in 2019, which is pretty decent. But year, would be great to see him reach the 20 mark this year.

Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Price becomes the big question mark. But you’re right, hard to find a better fit given his control, left-handed bat, and ability to play some CF.

Crochet + Kelley + Horn would have to be pretty interesting if you’re the Pirates.

MILB Kickoff Thread?
A couple interesting arms, although a bit on the older side. Bilous has pretty big stuff. Carranza & Schilling were both over-slot signings who got hurt immediately. Freeman is guy who could be move fast. An infusion of youth at some point would definitely help.

TA7 Isn't going to let the ship sink
The Sox can still win the division, but they 100% need to add a CF type that La Russa will actually play on a regular basis. Leury & Hamilton simply don’t cut it as fill-ins and honestly I’m not sure we can bank on Engel being ready in 3 weeks with all the set-backs he’s been experiencing. And while I hope I’m wrong, it’s probably only a matter of time before Eaton hits the DL too. No fucking clue who might be available right now, but waiting to the trade deadline might too late. We still have a lot of talent on offense, but we’re also a very streaky unit and can’t afford to rock sub replacement bats at the bottom of the lineup when things are running cold. Doesn’t need to be a star or anything close to Luis Robert, but the gap between serviceable and Leury / Hamilton is massive when it comes to the bat.

Bryan Reynolds for our 2020 draft class...who says no?

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Lol...god help us all. The amount of playing time we are going to give to Leury & Hamilton is going to be appalling. Hahn has to make a bold move and fast or things could get ugly.

Did you miss the entirety of KW’s tenure as GM?

Luis Robert grade 3 strain/torn Hip Flexor, est. out 12-16 weeks
Probably sending him to AA to help mask that readiness

5/2 Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland 1:10 PM
How bad is that ptatc?
-
5/2 Chicago White Sox vs. Cleveland 1:10 PM
He at least looks serviceable back there, which is a huge step up from some scouting reports that had him being unplayable. Now he just needs to find a way to get the bat going, which I think happens with time, at least again RHP.

The TLR Manager Thread
Lol...I’ve enjoyed my time as a Sox fan, but hard to say any of us have been spoiled

I’m actually not opposed to it assuming Yermin won’t kill us there.

The TLR Manager Thread
The best is Phil citing the “platoon” advantage in defense of Tony playing Leury despite the fact that five seconds of research would quickly show otherwise. Phil is legit one of the worst baseball commentators in the game right now, which is funny because I used to love reading his Tribune pieces as a kid. The more you know though.

Agree. TLR supposedly plays the bench guys so much to keep them fresh, but is going to have Mercedes have five straight off days outside of pinch hitting. I actually like that Tony is holding Yermin accountable for his actions, but I would tried punishing him a different way given the broader circumstances.
