  1. Bonemer is a dude. A great find for the scouting department and he looks like he's developing really nicely. He will be in all the top 100 lists pre-season 2026
  2. Billy Carlson, SS, Corona HS (CA) Rank: 8 Carlson is in play to varying degrees at most picks starting around No. 5, with a floor around No. 12 and hot spots from 8 to 10, so this is right around what he should be expecting. The White Sox may be the highest on JoJo Parker and his brother Jacob, but I don't think they can get JoJo down to their pick. Steele Hall, Josh Hammond and Gavin Fien are also tied here in a very prep hitter-heavy mix, with prep LHP Kruz Schoolcraft a long shot/later overpay possibility. Keep an eye on Gavin Turley and Mason Ligenza at later picks. From Kiley's latest mock on ESPN this morning.
  3. He has been throwing for weeks. This means he is going to pitch for the AZL Sox.
  4. The timing on that question was impeccable!
  5. Great month for the studs, Eloy, Kopech, and Cease are all on fire. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2018/08/white-sox-prospect-hot-list-814/
  6. I don't think there is any doubt that he will be on the 2019 preseason list. But I would anticipate some growing pains if they start him at Kannapolis next year. If he handles that as a 19 year-old, watch out.
  7. You've seen the rankings, now you can read about the rationale. Four FutureSox writers explain their reasoning for their personal highest and lowest prospects. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2018/08/futuresox-2018-midseason-rankings-roundtable-writers-high-and-lows/
  8. Ranking the outfielders in the system beyond Eloy/Robert is a really difficult proposition. It's really pick your flavor on floor versus raw tools and ceiling. I'd have Gonzalez over Rutherford, but it is important to remember Rutherford is nearly two years younger than Gonzalez and showing substantial improvement this year.
  9. FutureSox will have an interview with tons of Bush information in the week or so!
  10. I didn't rank Bush personally because of fear of the dreaded sample sample size, but what he is doing in a limited look is really, really impressive. If he finishes the year strong in Great Falls, he should start 2019 in Kannapolis as a 19 year-old and will be fascinating to follow there.
  11. He's the PC for the Dash.
  12. Source described Lambert's injury as "not terrible," so that doesn't sound season ending or anything.
