While I too would prefer a position player driven deal, I feel like you need to maximize the return on Cease regardless of the prospect mix. If Atlanta is willing to overwhelm you with quality pitching prospects so be it. But then again I'm pretty into AJSS, Waldrep, and Murphy. I also come back to Baltimore prospect hugging. There's a good chance the Orioles just aren't willing to trade the prospects that make sense in a Cease return. Even though they match up so well on paper doesn't mean Baltimore is a willing participant. It takes two to tango.

I'll take one Wyatt Langford please.

I actually really like Jett Williams and Drew Gilbert. I also wanted Colin Houck from last year's draft class. Always wondered about makeup concerns with Jett & Gilbert though.

Nice of the White Sox to let the Dodgers have the Ohtani spotlight for a bit before they dropped this bombshell transaction.

I mean. The White Sox are going to be irrelevant the next couple of years regardless. Who cares if Ohtani is on the north side?

The plane has landed. This is so dumb lol.

Lol. 18,000 people are now watching the supposed flight. https://www.flightradar24.com/N616RH/33251c37

This is pretty fun for anyone that has been following the Reddit Ohtani plane threads.

Ohtani in Toronto sounds great! I love when it's not just the usual suspects signing the mega-stars. I can get down with this.

Here's Montgomery so we can talk about his defense. Hadn't considered him for a corner OF spot.

Here's some snips of my favorite dudes outside of the obvious top 2.

I love Lowder and Petty.

Konnor Griffin and Brody Brecht sound fun to me.

Sure. Hope he continues to ball out and flip him at the deadline. Fine with this.

Yup.

This is the correct take. They are pretty much picking where they should be. Would have been nice to be top 3 or outside of 6, but luck is a fickle mistress. Such is life.

Well s%*#.

This feels so amateur. Brad Paisly why?

I'm feeling #2.

Pretty much. Having a big bonus pool is nothing to scoff at.

What's the outlook on my boy Brody Brecht?
