I wonder if Rick has approached Eloy about a team friendly contract extension yet. Something Longoria-ish. Rick is the contract man after all.

I feel like Ptac's theory holds some weight. I had posted something similar a few weeks back. Might they be tweaking his mechanics in an effort to combat what they assume contributed to his forearm issues? Could be the problem here.
