QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 09:11 PM) Bulls apparently offered Brewer + three picks for Mayo. Got turned down. Grizz are idiots for not taking that. f***ing Taj. Come on Derrick.
-
Bulls second string is holding the Heat Starters down.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Feb 24, 2011 -> 09:02 PM) Wade watches his shot rim out instead of getting back on defense leading to an easy score. How long before they say the rims are rigged.

LU. OL. DAAAAAAANG.

Goddamnit Taj. Omer is ballin'. Craig Sagers suit
-
Deng and Asik just made LeBron a b****. DENG STEPPIN' UP.
-
D-Rose got swagger. Omer showing why he's here and not Memphis.

The Bulls better be banking on a Parker or Rip buyout. Celtics move...confuses me. Nets hit a homerun by clusterf***ing the Knicks and getting the better player for cheaper. Grizz did good with Battier. Should have traded Mayo for something. Knicks made a lateral move for this year. We'll have to see how they fill the holes now. Denver did good.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 23, 2011 -> 05:23 PM) Hinrich's going to Atlanta. Good for Kirk, he deserves to be on a winner.

Apparently the Bulls are still in on Mayo. Thats nice.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 22, 2011 -> 12:59 AM) It's damn confusing to keep up with who went where, here's as I understand it where everyone went; NY got - Melo, Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter, Renaldo Balkman. DEN got - Chandler, Felton, Galllinari, Mozgov, Knick 2014 1st rounder, GSW 2012 and 2013 2nd round picks, $3M. Then NY did this; NY got - Corey Brewer MIN got - Anthony Randolph, Eddy Curry, $3M. So right now the Knick rotation looks like this; PG: Billups / Douglas / Carter SG: Brewer / Douglas SF: Melo / Bill Walker / Balkman PF: Amare C: ? (Earl Barron will be signed I presume). On top of all that, looks like none of Felton, Gallinari or Mozgov are getting dealt to New Jersey at this stage. The Nets really want to move Devin Harris, the Mavs, Trail Blazers and Hawks are all really into him. The Rockets really want Nene, and I believe his contract is up at the end of the season, so Denver may not want to pay him long - term, so something could definitely get done there. You forgot Fields in the NYK rotation. Though I could see D'Antoni running out Billups-Brewer-Fields-Melo-Amare. God that team will get roasted alive defensively.
-
QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 11:27 PM) Knicks in the long run will be better because this will attract either CP3 or DWill IMO but I read an article on Gallinari vs. Melo and if you pretty much double Danilo's shots per game, he would score just as much if not more than Melo They won't have cap for DWill or CP3 unless they take huge paycuts.
-
Knicks are doomed. Apparently Gallo and Felton are gonna be swung to NJ. I'd assume they'd get Harris back and something else. Minnesota wins. Denver wins. New Jersey wins. Chicago can swipe a SG from Denver and win. New York...

QUOTE (danman31 @ Feb 21, 2011 -> 09:54 PM) Chauncey, Melo, Amare. Worth fearing despite no supporting cast? Not at all. The Knicks now have four good players Chauncey Fields Melo Amare Then nothing. Of those players, Fields seems like he has decent defense. Teams with strong defensive presence (Bulls, Celtics, Heat, Magic) will be able to shut down one of Melo and Amare and let the other get his. Two of their big 3pt threats are now gone. Just like the Magic trade, this makes them slightly better overall, but a much nicer matchup for the Bulls.
-
So apparently Melo deal is imminent to Knicks. Here's hoping they gut that team for him.
-
But can we really beat this epitome of studlieness?
-
Wait, I thought it was team specific. Then it's awesome. Watching every single MLB game though, nah. That's pretty damn horrifying.

If only I weren't going to college, this is right up my alley with Journalism. Damn you need for college degree, damn you.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 10:55 PM) One of the sportscenter anchors said it best when he said that it appears that Wade almost gets hurt in every game. That asshole is always limping around. Surprised they didn't have to roll him out of the arena on a wheelchair. Oh well. If he's not healthy Thursday, I won't shed a tear.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 20, 2011 -> 09:49 PM) For schnitz and griddles Buehrle's FIRST start of the year (so not technically opening day, but I'm pretty sure his only non-opening day start was 2006) 2002 - 6 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 2 BB, 5 K (W) 2003 - 7 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 1 K (L) 2004 - 6.2 IP, 8 H, 3 R (2 ER), 1 BB, 1 K (ND, Sox lost) 2005 - 8 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 5 K (W) 2006 - 4 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 1 K (rain-delay halfway through, hence the lack of innings...Sox won) 2007 - 1.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB, 1 K (ND, Sox won) 2008 - 1.2 IP, 7 H, 7 R, 1 BB, 1 K (ND, Sox lost) 2009 - 5 IP, 6 H, 2 R, 3 BB, 3 K (ND, Sox won) 2010 - 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 3 K (W) Totals - 46.2 IP, 41 H, 19 R (18 ER), 14 BB, 21 K Average - 5.1 IP, 4.5 H, 2 R, 1.6 BB, 2.3 K Peripherals - 3.47 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 2.7 BB/9, 4 K/9 I would say that the notion that Buehrle has been a bad opening day starter is way overblown. In fact, I would argue that, outside of 2 starts, he's been exceptional on Opening Day. And of those two, he was hurt in one of them.

Wade could be hurt. Rondo passes with .8 seconds left.
