I understand the joke, but even if Eloy is miraculously healthy, for the love of god do not play him in the game anywhere but DH. He'd go for an easy fly ball in left and we'd lose him in the Iowa cornfields for at least two weeks.

Swooning would be a tame reaction to seeing a man descend from heaven.

Dane Dunning throws a complete game, losing after giving up only 1-hit. The only hit being a Nick Madrigal home run.

I really wish they hadn't won the first Cleveland game and the Celtics game. Flip those and they're only a game behind Cleveland for the 6 spot in the lottery, which dramatically improves their top 4 chances. Right now, they're 3 games behind. I also really fucking hate that we're talking about this.

Seeing his kids got me cracking up.

Ah yes, what an insult to be included in a trade proposal for checks notes Corbin Burnes.

At the risk of sounding Caulfieldian, the Meriam-Webster definition of "guff" I would like the player with "big league nonsense."

This time, Rodon avoids shoes.

Cancel Them All---The World Would Do Just Fine With Fewer "Influencers"
Quin replied to caulfield12's topic in SLaM
The Rockefellers in the past (3% of the US GDP) Carnegie. Bezos. Zuckerberg. Musk and the fact that Tesla is somehow the most valuable car manufacturer on the planet. Bitcoin billionaires and a few influencers aren't going to bring it all down like those dudes can. -

The 2,500-year-old history of adults blaming the younger generation Considering you jumped from America to China in three lines, I'm just gonna give you this article outlining how this is nothing new. -
This is just silly, especially if anyone remembers Nick's only strikeout this year: the third strike was waaaaay outside the strikezone

3) Lynn is a major part of getting the Sox to the playoffs, and ideally to at least the ALCS.

I was 100% ready for it to be a small bat flip or some shit, but damn that bat flip could have fucked someone up if it hit them in the head.

It's kind of like that whole thing where it's like those stories that popped up that were all "Hey Millennials, Gen Z thinks you're lame cause you use ? to represent laughter. They use ?." I was just like, aw, damn. Guess I'm still lame. -

Ah yes, because this 100% just started in the past few years and not the entirety of human history. -
I mean, Grandal, Eaton, Keuchel, Madrigal, Cease, and probably LF Vaughn at this point are ahead of him, but you do you. Enjoy the moment in the sun where everyone loves Yermin.

Eloy would basically get the worst reads, sometimes get there because he's athletic, then not seem to understand how catching works.

There's some straight up haters in this thread.

1) Hopefully this is just exposure and Zach hasn't actually caught it. 2) There goes the season.

Just as we all expected.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER CARLOS RODON NO HITTER EDITION!!!!!

2013 could have easily been there if not for the Injured List. -
Well, now that we're officially tanking again, the Bulls are 4.5 games behind the Magic (god damnit) for the #4 spot in the lottery. That would get them 48% odds of getting a Top 4 pick.

I think the wildest thing to me is that not only did we get Buehrle and Humber's perfect games, but Buehrle, Giolito, and Rodon's no-hitters were all one-batter away from perfection. It's not like E-Jax's walkathon no-hitter, they all came damn close. -
FUCK PEREZ' SHOES.
