Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
And he hit .282/.403/.951 at Charlotte, so your point is now moot ️
- Edwin Encarnacion

If you get to less balls, you make less errors. Also known as The Jeter.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
Then you either trade Castellanos for prospects or Micker for an MLB piece, if something goes wrong.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
He's 27. His birthday is in March. Somehow, 3 different ages have been cited for Castellanos in this thread.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
One thing is certain, add Robert, Collins, Vaughn, Madrigal, and Mazara to that and The Cell is going to be a launch pad.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
I'm getting hives imagining Ricky managing these many bats. SS - Anderson CF - Robert 3B - Moncada 1B - Abreu LF - Jimenez C - Grandal DH - Castellanos RF - Mazara 2B - Madrigal Bench: C/1B/DH - Collins C / DH - McCann OF/INF - Leury OF - Engel INF - Mendick Even then, I'm assuming we only carry 4 on the bench.

If Vaughn has a generational bat, you hope all three produce and likely flip Castellanos in the end.

Keuchel to Sox, 3 years, 55.55 million; 4th year team option
I would have rather signed Ryu to Keuchel's deal because the vesting option is key. But since that's not the case, even though I prefer Ryu, I'll take Keuchel's contract. Ryu's arm worries me.

Keuchel to Sox, 3 years, 55.55 million; 4th year team option
Yes, but Buehrle threw even softer and struck out way less people. Keuchel is essentially super Buehrle when it comes to pure stuff. Which isn't take away from Mark. Dude got more out of his pitches than probably any pitcher ever, but Sox fans are obsessed with comparing any lefty with a fastball around 90 and good defense to Buehrle. This is only fresh in my mind because Garfein did it on the podcast and Kamka smacked it down, because Buehrle is a high margin of error. I highly recommend this Grantland piece on why he's probably the strangest pitcher of all time. https://grantland.com/features/mark-buehrle-surprising-success/

Keuchel to Sox, 3 years, 55.55 million; 4th year team option
Because Buehrle is probably one of the most unique players of all time, but because they're both lefties who control the run game (Keuchel is soft tossing, but throws harder than Buehrle) Sox fans will try to compare them. They are both excellent pitchers.

Nah, keep the 2nd rounder next year. Ozuna ship sailed with Mazara.

Wonderful terms. Signed a Boras guy. Garfein will be happy there's a rotation mentor. Anyone comparing Keuchel to Buehrle is ridiculous.

White Sox sign Gio Gonzalez
The prophecy has been fulfilled.

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
This would be like if we offered them James Shields and Adam Eaton in exchange for Michael Kopech and Rafael Devers.

Don't forget the blown lead on the Lakers.

Sox and Sawks to see if the Price is Right
Because I know you're implying Tatis, and likely Semien... Tatis was a lotto ticket that hit who hadn't played a game for the Sox and wasn't on any Top 100 list. Semien didn't have the prospect pedigree of Vaughn or Madrigal, and just had a season with a .230 average with Anderson on the way.

Avi Garcia to Brewers, 2 years, 20 Million Total
Avi was basically worse than Mazara until he began realizing his potential at age 26 and became an All-Star. So yeah, age matters.

Avi Garcia to Brewers, 2 years, 20 Million Total
At half the cost and 4 years younger.
