Lead-off Man
Anderson with Robert or Moncada behind him. TA's splits show that he hits dramatically better higher in the lineup, so try it out with protection behind him. If that doesn't work, Madrigal test out Madrigal. Only reason I'm avoiding Robert is to give him the chance to drive in a bunch of runs.

The Sox' moves have me interested as a fan again
I think by virtue of being a poster on SoxTalk, you're not a fair weather fan.

Let's win the damn division
The Marlins had to trade prospects to the Sox to avoid tampering violations. Ozzie wanted out.

So What Happens to Zack Collins?
1. Watches James McCann make adjustments after being DFA'd, decides it's not a fluke despite a less than stellar second half. 2. Zack Collins makes adjustments after being demoted, decides it's a fluke despite him tearing the cover off the ball and having a track record of power and an elite batters eye. You're a bigger piece of work than you think Zack Collins is.

Sox still looking at Puig?
So we're on the verge of signing him?

2019 Lineup vs. 2020 Lineup WAR
Well, already explained it, but because I didn't want to mess with regressions or progressions and look at it flat.

Why has Hahn failed?
Sir, this is a Wendy's.

So What Happens to Zack Collins?
AAA, first man up. If he's tearing the cover off the ball, he'll force the big league team to make room for him. At the risk of sounding like Joe Maddon or a crazy man that thinks Luis Robert needs to stay in AAA, Schwarber was drafted as a catcher. If Collins really forces the issue, they'll teach/cram him in at 3rd as a backup, like they did Yermin, or left, like the Cubs did with Schwarber. He could also force out one of McCann or EE, which could be amazing or terrible depending on circumstance.

And, as we all discussed as nauseum, Mazara has the chance to be so much more.

And the farm system is significantly deeper, even past the top guys. Here's a look at what the Top 30 was back then: http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2016/01/top-30-white-sox-prospects-preseason-2016-full-list/

Let's win the damn division
With Timmy at catcher, Mazara in center, Collins in right, and McGrandal at short, who's gonna stop us?!

Speaking of Reddit, the whole Baseball subreddit is going gaga for the Sox following their moves.

Edwin Encarnacion
The dude keeps forgetting Luis Robert exists.

Edwin Encarnacion
I think they're done with bats, with Engel as the defensive sub and Leury as the super sub. With Collins/McCann, we could carry a 5 man bench with the new 26 person roster. I guess it comes down to how we feel with Yermin as the third catcher.

Edwin Encarnacion
So how do we feel about this compared to Castellanos? Less defensive flexibility (not saying much considering NC's skill in the OF), lower average, more power, roughly equal OBP, and more flexibility for the future. I think I prefer EE's power in the Cell / leaves room for Vaughn in the future.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
Because as we know, US Cellular field is renowned for suppressing power.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
My man.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
We should give up on all prospects after they get demoted, make adjustments and proceed to hit the absolute hell out of the ball while filling a short term and long term hole on this team.

Castellanos to Reds , rumored 4/64M
And he hit .282/.403/.951 at Charlotte, so your point is now moot ️
