  2. Have you ... never seen a $10 bill?
  3. At that point the mods will have unethically edited the thread title ~10 times minimum.
  4. These moves are so un-White Sox
  5. I'd go with moving Moncada to RF. It's a risk, but he has the tools and I feel like Madrigal would compliment the rest of the lineup well. The wonderful thing about this is that, depending on prospects, it gives us the possibility of having depth for the first time in forever.
  6. My point was that both Engel and Hamilton are fast, but suck at hitting.
  7. And that's if we want someone like Billy Hamilton. If we want speedsters who can hopefully hit at the MLB level, we have Robert and Madrigal. We have Yoan and Tim already.
  8. Man, we have Engel.
  9. MLB Pipeline pre-2016
  10. I can't wait for @WBWSF's latest letter to Reinsdorf complimenting them for a big signing.
  11. And they got Bregman as compensation for lowballing Aiken.
  12. Oh lord, BP is visualizing the sound from the Astros' trash cans. https://www.baseballprospectus.com/news/article/55283/moonshot-the-astros-sign-stealing-left-a-fingerprint-in-the-audio-date/ How many tables do you think the Astros PR department has flipped?
  13. How the Nationals planned for this was...insane. Washington Post: Sign-stealing in the World Series? The Nationals had a plan, just in case. Whole thing is worth a read.
  14. Thousands of pitches* I'm thinking of the draft standings this affected, teams that might have missed the playoffs due to this, playoff outcomes altered, players who might have missed bonuses based on performance, rookies who got shelled through no fault of their own (like Fiers brought up), and the fact that this was organization sanctioned, not 7 players + 1 illiterate one who performed anyway.
  15. At this point, over the course of three seasons? Yah. Especially with the 2017 World Series now in question.
  16. Everyone watch how blatant this shit is.
  17. Depending on what MLB finds, Hinch and Lunhow should probably be banned, especially when you take into consideration how much worse this is for the sport compared to Pete Rose or the Black Sox. As for the players, that's gonna be trickier. What works in favor of that argument is that supposedly, some players declined the help. Redditors went through the game Farquhar caught the Astros in and the players that got trash can bangs included Bregman, Correa, Altuve, Beltran, Gattis, and Springer.
  18. Has Jomboy's vid been posted in here? Man, the internet is taking care of MLB's investigation.
  19. Seeing Lunhow get the boot would be pretty phenomenal, not gonna lie.
  20. Jimenez learning to play defense?
  21. This has always kind of been my opinion. It was clear Hahn pushed the rebuild vs. the Go-for-Its in Jerry and Kenny. But at this point - this is a key thing. Hahn has great trades - the Big Three of Sale, Q, and Eaton. He gets great extensions done. Selling the international space when they couldn't use it was genius. But if it was Jerry's call or not, selling it now is foolish. He's made more bad signings than good (McCann being the standout good), the drafts haven't been stellar, and playe development has been bad. This is key. His job is to convince Jerry that actually investing in LatAm. the minors, and analytics is massively important. This is the most accurate post of all time.
