QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 06:34 PM) You know how much sox fans love q when we are also pissed at a guy saying we got a great trade because the player we gave up isn't any good. I will always defend Q.

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 06:06 PM) Has anybody seen the Rum Bunter account? Jesus he's so salty So much salt.

Do the White Sox now have the best farm system in MLB?

QUOTE (hi8is @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 04:21 PM) Mayo says burger, sheets, and skoug will all be top 100 on new list And who drops off from Sox? Fulmer? Cause Hansen fan jump in. -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 04:18 PM) Miguel Gonzalez and Mike Pelfrey could be included as well. Holland and Holmberg as well.
-
QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 04:10 PM) Reading the thread in /r/baseball and there are a few Cub fans downplaying Eloy, saying he'll probably be "Soler 2.0", funny how that always happens when prospects are traded. In before someone mentions Tatis.

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 02:21 PM) Quintana was the perfect replacement for Mark Buehrle. Now we need another "soft" tossing lefty to rise from the ashes and make us forget about Q. Best wishes buddy, go win a World Series. Guerrero. Also, this would make a Q return even sweeter.

Jones out for Season, nerve repositioning surgery
Quin replied to Lip Man 1's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Yeah, wish we had moved him to highest bidder this past offseason. Trade Kahnle. -
QUOTE (Frank_Thomas35 @ Jul 13, 2017 -> 01:05 AM) What did the tweet even say? Supposedly Q to Cubs for four prospects.
-
If the Rosenthal tweet is real - anyone think he might have taken it down because Rick Hahn did a last call (a la Sale to Nats) and someone like the Brewers stepped in?

Did Reinsdorf sell Bulls Draftee to sign Jake Burger?

QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Jul 12, 2017 -> 11:34 PM) Watch the write-ups then of Reinsdorf's so-called "legacy" in a few years when his tenure as owner of both teams has ended. They won't seem so "separate" when all of that nonsense begins. The narrative has already begun in several fluff pieces: Reinsdorf being described as "so awesome" for the city of Chicago because he brought "seven" championships to the city. He brought six Bulls trophies to the city of Chicago along with the lonely ONE and only ONE championship achieved on the South Side over his nearly 40 years at the helm there. Certainly very impressive for the basketball franchise; not-so-much for the baseball franchise, not over a forty period. Reinsdorf is somehow being made a hero in this city because he's been compared to the losing likes of the Tribune Company, the McCaskey's, and Bill Wirtz. Can you imagine any faint praise greater than this!! We ought to watch out for the favorable journalistic license already underway to conflate this guy's record during his time on the South Side with that with which Michael Jordan allowed him to achieve with the Bulls. Make no mistake: Reinsdorf's last chance for salvaging his legacy with the Sox is tied to this rebuild. If under Reinsdorf's waning days of ownership, Hahn can manage to acquire and develop the kind of players that will lead to a level of achievement manifesting itself in the organization's FIRST-EVER display of sustainable postseason play, then MAYBE Reinsdorf's legacy will withstand historical scrutiny. Otherwise, he'll simply be lumped in with the Allyns and the rest of the organization's owners responsible for the team's sad record of futility, and it'll open up a golden chance for the NEXT OWNER to achieve what no other Sox owner has managed to achieve: a winning Chicago White Sox baseball organization. What the f***? -

Anyone that actually believes that is a moron. -
Anyone else hoping Rick had put in the last call to teams?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 12, 2017 -> 08:24 AM) While I don't understand the purpose of hunting nearly endangered animals, I'm not sure how this is relevant to the topic at hand. Stay focused, people. Russia is the distraction. #SaveTheACA The elephant represents Republicans in the photo.

QUOTE (SouthSideSale @ Jul 12, 2017 -> 09:13 AM) Been waiting for this deal for awhile now. I'm gona miss Q. Long live the Serpent! I fully trust Hahn on this one. He's set us up nicely. The Flying Serpent shall soon have his fill on beer.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jul 12, 2017 -> 03:31 AM) Frankly party shouldn't matter to anyone when the president has directly lied over 100 times in 6 months to the citizens of the United States. That should be bi-Partisan. But emails*! *=Hillary's, not Trump Jr.

QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Jul 12, 2017 -> 01:56 AM) I don't see the Cardinals giving up that much. Swap Perez for Harrison Bader. Think that's too steep for the Yankees too. I like the rest though. Those were the two I was iffy about, but wanted to dream big.
-
In light of the Brewers coming to the lead in the Q-sweepstakes. Quintana, Swarzak to Brewers for Brinson, Hader, Phillips and Kodi Medeiros. Addresses the two weakest areas in the system - OF and LHP Robertson, Holland to Nationals for Kieboom, Jesus Luzardo and Daniel Johnson. I'd love to get Soto here, but I think Rick ends up settling. Kahnle, Melky to the Yankees for Andujar, Dillon Tate. Avi, Frazier to the Cards for Perez, Woodford Pelfrey, Gonzalez for PTBNL or cash. Listen for offers on Leury, but he likely stays. Could throw him into a Nats deal and upgrade Kieboom to Soto. Net Out: Quintana, Swarzak, Robertson, Holland, Kahnle, Melky, Avi, Frazier Net In: Brinson, Hader, Phillips, Medeiros, Kieboom, Luzardo, Johnson, Andujar, Tate, Perez, Woodford.

If Adams returns to hype levels of a few years ago....very nice.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 11, 2017 -> 08:31 PM) K0na fell off the planet after the last trade he broke(Peavy?) I think it brought some unwanted fame and probably put a little heat on his source Much more likely to be bucket, who is probably Rick Hahn.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 11, 2017 -> 08:23 PM) Brinson, Hader, Phillips I can get behind that.
