  1. QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 10:12 PM) Can't wait for Schwarber to hit a 3 run shot to tie this somehow... Bruh
  2. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 25, 2016 -> 11:12 AM) You can say that again. I bet at least 60-65% of their fan base is bandwagon/post 2010 fans. I actually tried to get into hockey in 2009. Liked Havlat the most on the Hawks. Then just decided hockey isn't for me. So I'll pull for the Hawks out of city pride, but don't proclaim myself as a fan.
  3. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 24, 2016 -> 07:01 PM) If I am trading with the Yankees, and assuming Sanchez is either off the table or value is skyhigh, then go after Gleyber Torres and Clint Frazier If I'm trading with the Yankees and Sanchez is off the table, Sale and Quintana are off the table. He had a great rookie debut. They've had great years.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 11:46 PM) You don't understand my point about entering the election later than he has? I do, but then you know, the American people make a rushed decision. The more they see of him, the easier it is to see he isn't presidential material. And it's his fault that he sexually assaulted women and bragged about it, not the medias' fault.
  5. They traded for the wife beater. Here's to them losing.
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 11:30 PM) Now we are back to greg is scum posts. Look, I said if Trump had entered the race late, none of this stuff would have surfaced because of uh, the time frame. If he enters the race six months later, we have the election and he's still talking about a wall and being an untraditional politician. It's because you're basically saying that it's the media's fault that he sexually assaulted all those women. And no, Hillary shouldn't be in jail.,
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 01:27 PM) Thing is ... Trump just went on stage at the debates and blew them away with insults and saying how great he was and how he'd be the only one who could beat Hillary. He single handedly pared the field and turned Cruz into what was perceived as an idiot/clown. Had Trump not run, just think, one of the real politicians would have been the republican candidate, assuming Cruz or Bush beat out Carson or Fiorina. So with Trump out of the running maybe Cruz would have caught on or Fabio. Except Cruz is insane.
  8. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 02:40 PM) LOL. THAT'S what hurt Trump? Ok Greg. Stopped reading after that. The bragging about sexual assault / being a threat to the American experiment doesn't have an effect.
  9. QUOTE (hi8is @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 12:57 AM) Sale or Quintana sure are looking good to the Dodgers right about now. And the Red Sox.
  10. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Oct 23, 2016 -> 12:34 AM) Yeah its really not tears/crying, "been waiting my whole life" worthy unless you're at least in your 40s haha this girl hasn't suffered long like many. I had people saying they waited all their lives for last year. So, reaching the NLCS. Or another started crying when she became a fan...three years ago.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 22, 2016 -> 05:09 PM) I enjoy their games, I have never denied that. I also enjoy other systems, I just chose to stay with Nintendo because I love the first party games. Every time they come out with anything Q blasts it, for no reason other to say Nintendo sucks. I get it, people think they are always a step behind with their consoles, but they still manage to thrive. And the games are pretty good. They just haven't had the volume It's a fair criticism of me, I'll take it. I do wish they just started focusing primarily on software because that's where they excel. Wii and Wii U were just harsh departures from the Gamecube (which is one of my favorite consoles). Wii at least was successful, Wii U seemed doomed from the start because Nintendo insisted on being different. They're make a return to standard controls, which is a step in the right direction, but then there's a bunch of reasons to be skeptical of the Switch, especially because the Wii U was a flop.
  12. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Oct 22, 2016 -> 08:39 PM) Actually the Red Sox offense was better than the Cubs this year. Best in baseball And coincidentally, the Indians shut them down.
  13. A-Rod comes off as a natural broadcaster.
  14. QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 05:45 PM) I'm wondering how though. How much power can that thing possibly have if it's portable? What's the transition like from portable to TV? Are you running a low-res version of the game when it's portable and then it goes HD when it's hooked up to your TV? I want to know what the difference is because unless there is an up-res thing going on with the TV dock, the games will have to be made for a portable device. Either that thing is going to be crazy expensive (not likely knowing Nintendo) or it's going to be crappy versions of games like NBA 2K17 (shown in the trailer) just so it can run on the portable. If there is some tech boost going on when it's plugged into the TV does that mean games will run like crap or be missing features when portable? Nintendo: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on you. Fool me three times, start being a software company.
  15. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 02:49 PM) I don't know about three studios but I know that Legendary (which is now apart of Universal) and Warner Bros are teaming up to make a Kajiu universe, with Godzilla and Kong. And when I think about it, three studios may not want to partner on a movie because of the diluted returns. Well if it were like the Sony deal, each studio finances their films (so Sony would finance the Spider-Man films, Fox the X-Men, FF and Deadpool, Marvel the rest) and retains all profits.
  16. When Ezio and I see a wrong opinion
  17. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 02:51 PM) I thought the NL was so inferior numbers can't even be trusted.
  18. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 02:15 PM) Major studios partnering up isn't rare, it happens pretty regularly. I think Fox should partner with Marvel/Disney and reboot the X Men (and Fantastic Four) films in the MCU with its younger cast from Apocalypse but that would probably take a lot of time to realize because you have to figure out where mutants fit in the overall MCU and how it affects the Inhumans storyline, which I think will be the next phase of films. I'm pretty surprised that Marvel/Disney hasn't suffocated X-Men like they did Fantastic Four, in regards to how they stopped making merchandise and printing comics. Marvel/Disney even went so far to remove FF characters from new editions all previously printed pictures of the Marvel Universe. And I'm not sure why Fox wants to hold on to their Marvel properties for, because they only make money from the BO, everything else goes to Marvel/Disney. But three studios partnering for a franchise that's heavily interwoven? QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 02:18 PM) They did suffocate the X men, and only recently have they started the ResurreXion storyline, which is why many believe that they are trying to make this MCU happen. Another hint is that they took Inhumans off their schedule and basically put a "TBD" label on it. Yup. And the only reason they didn't snuff them out is because they're the f***ing X-Men. You don't get rid of that cash cow entirely.
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 02:07 PM) Holy f*** he took that insane post seriously. Who knows at this point?
  20. QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 01:17 PM) Exactly. Dodgers are an inferior opponent and Cubs win. It would take just what Harry says. And if it 'somehow' went game 7, no way in hell the Cubs would lose to an Independent League pitcher in Hill. They would bash him. Kershaw the best pitcher in the game? I disagree. Face facts. Like we all suspected from the regular season runaway, it's the Cubs year. The Giants and Dodgers players are 1/3 as good as the Cubs. Rizzo is this year's Hosmer; Bryant is arguably the best hitter around and the Cubs defense and bullpen and starters are amazing. The parade is coming soon. AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Rich Hill has made fools of opponents this year. And Kershaw was on pace for one of the greatest single seasons by a pitcher ever if he hadn't been sidelined with injuries. Kershaw could very well go down in history as a Top 5 pitcher if he pitches to form for a few more years. If he hadn't missed time he'd be getting his second MVP and fourth Cy Young.
  21. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 02:58 PM) Nintendo is trying to convey that their system can play modern games and has a 5 year old game in their first look trailer of a new system. Oh, Nintendo. Yeah, I had the same thought. Watch TES 6 get announced for Xbox One and PS4, while Nintendo is pimping Skyrim. QUOTE (ChiliIrishHammock24 @ Oct 20, 2016 -> 06:11 PM) No one talking about RDR2? Graphics were awesome, timeperiod looks AFTER RDR1, f*** I can't wait to jump back in to that world. Ryan McCaffrey of IGN speculating that there may be 7 playable characters. Steve posted the trailer.
  22. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 21, 2016 -> 11:11 AM) guys, Bill Clinton had extra marital affairs, and signed NAFTA(worst deal in the history of all deals*) and this in turn allowed people to remove babies on the last day of the 9th month, just rip them out. *this deal is pretty close to as bad of a deal Chicago signed with Trump to build the Trump Spire. I was unaware Bill Clinton orchestrated the Shelby Miller trade.
