  1. QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 10, 2014 -> 01:03 PM) Klaw (12:42 PM) It depends on the cost, but if it's equal I'd take Rodon. Hoffman's a tremendous athlete with arm strength, but the secondary stuff isn't at all consistent and he needs a lot of work. Of course, Don Cooper will give him a cutter and he'll end up in the top 5 in Cy Young voting for 2016. I'll be fine with Hoffman or Rodon, but I really want Rodon if he actually slips to us.

    Excited for Jaye and Danish.
  3. Ptatc is making me feel a bit better. Use this to build Dayan or ADA's value
  4. This team is so much more fun to watch in comparison to last years team.
  5. lol Abreu has stupid power. That didn't even look hit that hard.
  6. Can Roger Bossard change the thickness of the air in the cell?
  7. So I miss Abreu's 1st home run because MLB.tv thinks I'm in Chicago for some reason.

QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 8, 2014 -> 04:58 PM) 2 innings for Throne to finish off the 3-2 win. Good. Storm Throne needs to succeed.
  9. I view Paulino and Hanson like Humber, basically a failure that may be a lottery ticket for a year or two. Had the Sox traded Humber that offseason, they might have been able to get a good prospect or two for him, so I'd hope to do the same with Paulino/Hanson.
  10. "Two of the things that make my job a lot easier are Herm Schneider and Don Cooper," Hahn said. "Not only because it allows us to expand the universe of pitchers that we're comfortable taking a chance on, but we've also got pitchers seeking us out, too. Guys who haven't unleashed their potential or who have injury issues contacting us and saying they want to be a part of what we're doing." ^ I feel like this is why signings like Paulino and Hanson happen.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 7, 2014 -> 06:36 PM) Twice now marvel has decided to put a movie against BvS. Marvel gives exactly 0 f***s And after Winter Soldier, Batman vs. Superman against Captain America 3 is a lose-lose for DC.
  12. Classic Coop/Herm fix up.
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 06:39 PM) Bulls get rid of Erik Murphy. Wonder which veteran they are looking to add. Supposedly Ronnie Brewer

QUOTE (raBBit @ Apr 2, 2014 -> 07:39 PM) Fat boys looked great today. Paulino was good. Cleto came in with a guy on third one out and and escaped the run facing two hitters. Belisario went four up, four down. #FearTheFat
  15. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 2, 2014 -> 06:01 PM) @ckamka: IBB's first tracked in 1955. Jose Abreu is first player during that span with a 2-IBB game within first 2 MLB games When you're intimidating opponents into your second game, it's good.
  16. Quin replied to Buehrle>Wood's topic in Pale Hose Talk
If they win, people will come.
  17. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 2, 2014 -> 05:54 PM) How did Paulino look? One rough inning then good. Abreu doesn't seem to give a s*** about the cold.
  18. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 2, 2014 -> 12:20 PM) Is he the Father, Son, or the Holy Spirit? Holy Spirit.
  19. Basically hope they succeed outside of like Swisher. Don't care for some like Teahen.
  20. Lindstrom starts at closer. Does well = trade at deadline. Install Jones as closer. Does well = trade in offseason for a Davidson type if you can. Much joy in Whoville.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 1, 2014 -> 04:05 PM) He burned about every single bridge he had to the White Sox. I dont envision him ever coming back. Burned is putting it lightly. He burned the bridges, rebuilt them in stone form, then blew those up with TNT, then poisoned the water so that it gave off toxic fumes so a new bridge could never be built.
  22. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 1, 2014 -> 12:45 AM) White Sox "win" the Reed/Eaton match-up for Day 1... Reed got torched for a 2 run homer by Posey to help cap a big Giants' comeback win at AZ. Reed was traded for Davidson.
