  1. QUOTE (mataipaepae @ May 25, 2013 -> 10:47 PM) alot of our offensive issues stem from our station to station speed. I love paulie but it is time to see what we can get for him. and it is definitely time to move dunn. maybe dunn stays to play 1st base since nobody will take him. but we can get something for paulie. move viciedo to DH and start teaching him 1st base. while viciedo doesn't possess blazing speed he is much faster than dunn or paulie. but the middle of our lineup is a log jam! Paulie has been the slowest player in the league since his debut and the Sox have had good offenses with him. It's not just "Paulie is slow." Do you remember that '06 offense with speedsters such as PK, Thome, and Dye?
  2. Scottie dunkin' on Mourning, who was also a far better defender than Birdman.
  3. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 25, 2013 -> 07:11 PM) Dude, everybody dunked on Ewing. MJ, Pip, Penny, Kemp, etc. There's even some vid of quinarvy dunking on Ewing. I just gotta find it. Hey, when I was six I had mad hops. But for real, Pip's trash talk to Ewing and Spike Lee and "that's how you do it" look on his face made him tougher/cooler than George's "mean look followed by stupid grin and high fiving LeBron."
  4. ALL HAIL THE MIGHTY KEPP KILL THE ANGEL DANKS RETURN!
  5. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:25 PM) seriously what happened to the greatest closer in the game Retired in 2003.
  6. So, if you're the Pacers...just don't even go near a Heat player. The Heat would get the call. I'd almost just tell them "GO STAND AT HALF COURT"
  7. QUOTE (Knuckles @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:16 PM) Sox will have to homer to win this one. It'll reach the concourse and will be reviewed.
  8. Yeah, seriously though. f*** Hernandez. That was a terrible call.
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 24, 2013 -> 10:08 PM) Marlins out Soxed the Sox there. Haha!
  10. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ May 24, 2013 -> 09:40 PM) Aww, and then he ruins it by giving Lebron a five. WTF. God I miss 80's/90's NBA. Which is why I love the Bulls-Heat games. Those teams hate each other.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 24, 2013 -> 04:22 PM) whaaaaaaa? why? Dunno. But after he sucked post-contract to Thibs he really owes the Bulls a discount when you pair that with them allowing him to play for Great Britain last summer. His offense has been complete s*** since the wrist injury. Get the damn surgery. If no discount from Lu, ship him out for a SG and move Jimmy to SF.
  12. Deng is opting to not get surgery on his wrist. He either owes the Bulls a huge discount or needs to be shipped out.
  13. Mavs are shopping the #13 and trying to clear cap space. Rip + $1M (Buyout) + Teague for #13 and Vince Carter? As long as the Mavs made the pick for the Bulls then made the trade after (Similar to the Bulls "drafting" Kevin Seraphin), it would be legal. Try to walk away with something like Shabazz and Dieng in the first round and a rookie PG in the 2nd. I know I'm a Mizzou student but I feel Flip Pressey would be a good pick as he can get to the rim, distribute the ball, and defend with his big downsides being he is short and can't shoot for s*** (though still probably better than Teague). Roll with this: PG: Rose/Hinrich/Pressey SG: Butler/Carter SF: Deng/Shabazz PF: Boozer/Taj/Thomas C : Noah/Dieng/Nazr
  14. I didn't realize how well Phegley is doing right now. If Flowers doesn't step up, Phegley might get the call sooner rather than later.
  15. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 22, 2013 -> 02:45 PM) If a baseball team had the PED issues Seattle does, everyone would jump all over them as cheaters. But in the NFL, people only talk about replacing players during suspensions, they don't criticize the organization. NFL players also get away with murder. Literally. Also, Urlacher retired. So, yeah.
  16. Imagine if we had let go of Quetzalcoatl like the Yankees did? Everyone one on this board would be livid.
