QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) /facepalm

I'm actually really intrigued by Lamb You've got a depth chart of... Westbrook/Maynor Thabo/Martin/Lamb Durant/PJIII Ibaka/Collison Perkins/Thabeet I know Martin is expiring, but I feel like Lamb is the odd man out. It would make no sense to trade him, but I wish they would.

f*** DETROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIT

QUOTE (Benchwarmerjim @ Oct 28, 2012 -> 09:17 PM) Twins might make a trade for Mark Buehrle which makes sense because he is pretty much the epitome of a 'Twins pitcher' (junkballer, quick worker, doesnt walk anyone, gritty player) Please god no. I'd give Buehrle anyone other than Sale and Quintana's spot in the rotation.

They are who we thought they are?

OKC just got better now and in the long run. Damn Presti is a good GM. I mean, he got lucky hitting on Durant, Westbrook, and Harden. They could have all been busts, but damn they hit. And then stole PJIII. Scouted and got Ibaka. But the Perkins trade, getting Thabo (though Taj is fair value) and now Lamb? God damn Presti is good.

QUOTE (Joxer_Daly @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 03:34 AM) I support the Sox, not the AL. Detroit can go an' ask me b@llix. Go Giants! I love this guy.

What shall we call VP Kenny Williams and GM Rick Hahn

QUOTE (Cali @ Oct 26, 2012 -> 01:13 AM) We have normal jobs. Baseball GM isn't normal. I would think what you really cared about was to be giving the keys to a baseball franchise and be able to make all the personnel moves BY YOURSELF. If Hahn couldn't get that in Chicago, he could have easily gotten it somewhere else and get paid the same if not more. I hope Kenny can take a hands off approach, but that seems impossible. Maybe his family likes it in Chicago? Maybe he likes it?
-
QUOTE (Cali @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 10:10 PM) If that's the case I already have no respect for the new GM. If he's just taking the money to be Kenny's b**** and be the GM in name only? No thank you. If you could do your same job that you enjoyed, but could get a raise due to a title change you wouldn't do it?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 03:01 PM) Why do many of you want the Giants to win? Detroit is in the gawddam AL, which is our league. WTF is wrong with some people? I do not get it. AL pride??? Some of you assume the AL is the better league. Then let's win the gawddam world series???!!!!!! And it might soften up the Tigers for next season as well. The Sox fan I know rooting for Detroit was born in Detroit and raised on the South Side. Otherwise, the entire city of Detroit can f*** itself. f*** AL Pride. I'd root for the Orioles, Blue Jays, Rays, Mariners, (and next year) Astros from the AL. That's it. I can't stand any team in our division, the Yankees or Red Sox, the Rangers, Angels, and A's. I'll never root for Detroit in the WS unless they play the Cubs.

QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 25, 2012 -> 07:57 PM) $$$$$ This, he probably gets paid more to do just a little more than he already does.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 11:14 PM) He sounds great. Robin has proven you don't need a lifelong baseball guy to be a winning manager. More teams are going to turn to ex players. That's why the Royals should have hired Frank White long ago. Idiots. Robin pretty much is a baseball lifer...he only retired in 2004

QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 09:32 PM) JVINAA QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 09:55 PM) Haha Valverde. No dancing for you I love both of you.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 12:36 AM) There are little kids it Guild Wars 2? I've never played the game, but I'd imagine it's a killing/violent game. Surprised they'd have kids running around. But that's pretty cool he's dressed as Altair. In the main cities there are little kids running around playing all the time. Some of them were saying "I don't know why our people used to fight?" "Who cares, you're my friend, let's play" f***ing adorable.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 03:03 PM) How can he love Bobby Jenks so much if he's b****ing that Bell reported in fat and out of shape? Jenks did that almost every year with the Sox. I pointed this out like 3 pages ago. It boggles me.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 12:56 AM) Finally. Somebody answers each of my points! Thank you! Is Q only 20? Really? Quintana? Much younger than I thought. I don't care about popularity. I'm loyal to Ozzie for what he did for me (Sox). He made my happy in 2005, mighty happy. He's talking about me buddy Quintana is 23
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 12:30 AM) I personally think greg is reveling in his newfound celebrity. He's become the most popular person on the board. Even moreso than the awful kalapse. greg doesn't really care for ozzie THIS much. oh and q, happy late b-day. i saw that you had just turned 20 but was too drunk too send a pm. Thanks J4L. And that would make Greg the most successful troll ever.

In Guild Wars 2, there's a little kid running around the main city dressed as Altair for Halloween.
-
Is anyone else enjoying the irony of Greg taking shots at a fat closer who failed to get the job done for Ozzie? Also, the Castro comments would be akin to Ozzie saying something along the lines of "f*** the Irish people" in Chicago.
-
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 09:34 PM) Well thankfully the Sox hire based on results instead of affability and all around friendliness. And Coops last three weeks was still better than Ozzies entire season
-
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 06:44 PM) Those working class stiffs spend their hard-earned money on tickets that help pay Ozzie's million dollar salary, yet he has talked s*** about the fans, his teams underperform, and he admits that he doesn't do s*** at the stadium and doesn't really care either. Yes, what a hero to the lower class worker. Yeah, that was a hilariously offensive statement by Greg.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 05:16 PM) He'd be perfect with a young team and it'd re-energize his career.
