Quintana - a good problem to have.
QUOTE (sunofgold @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 06:50 PM) 6 man rotation might work here. Then American idolize it and let us vote out which starter goes to pen to replace Stewie. What the hell does this mean?

2012 White Sox Catch-All thread
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 04:39 PM) “He must be a student of the game,’’ Ohman said. “If he’s learned that in his first four years, I dare say I’m interested to see what he learns in his next four.’’ That is great line by Ohman. I suddenly went from just being ok with Ohman to liking him.

The Avengers/Marvel Comics thread
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 08:58 PM) http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/j...-203740882.html Not sure if this is the same article or maybe a twist on the one you read. I really see the movie failing if Bale isn't Batman.

Who would you rather go out for beers with: Ozzie or Robin?
QUOTE (soxmaniac! @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 04:21 PM) ozzie was 5'11 150 pounds in his playing day. Now he is probly 170 pounds because of the fat. i dont know why you're just assuming ozzie can beat somebody up that you dont know. a guy who was 5'11 150 pounds and just gained fat would get an ass whooping at least 50% of the time i change my vote to ozzie. ill go to the bar with him so i can kick his ass. Well, I'm 5'11, 220 lb. But everyone always thinks I'm 185, so it's more muscle I guess? Kind of like a Viciedo build, minus the baseball skills and strength of an ox. The difference would be that I'm 19 and not in my 40s. Also, based off of past Ozzie comments, he'd fear his citizenship getting taken away. Meanwhile, I don't. However, Ozzie does have some crazy in him, but I got some crazy as well. Conclusion: I punch Ozzie, he punches me back. We go "cool" and then troll Cubs fans. Greg calls me a rat/finck/snitch/bum because Ozzie gains my respect and we become new bestest friends forever and he signs my brothers 1990's Ozzie jersey. Then Ozzie is arrested for providing a minor with alcohol and all is sad.

Couldn't watch. The Spurs got screwed by the refs? Man, Bulls-Thunder would have been interesting to say the least.

Brandon Allen DFA'd
QUOTE (danman31 @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 03:08 PM) Ha, that's classic. For a trade that got repeatedly blasted, Kenny ended up winning it. I really only liked Allen as a trade piece. I thought he would have made a nice piece to a deal for Halladay back when Doc was on the market. I just remember being made we traded him for a reliever.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) I can't see this trade happening. Hence the Sam Smith hat. I don't know how they'd do it, but I would just love to get 2 of Barnes/Lamb/Ross on this team.

2011-2012 NBA Season Thread
Golden State wants to move the 7th pick for a veteran swingman, or move Wright & Biedrins/Jefferson, Toronto wants a veteran swingman for the 8th/Calderon/Davis, Hornets want to move the 10th pick. TIME FOR THE SAM SMITH TRADE HAT. Deng to Hornets for Ariza, Jack, #10. Ariza, Jack, + #29 to Raptors for #8, Calderon, Davis. #10 + Bobcats Pick + Watson (GS likes Watson again) for #7, Wright, Biedrins. Throw in Korver, Brewer, or Rip into any deals that might want them. Bulls draft Barnes & J. Lamb with #7 and #8. PG: Calderon, Kirk (MMLE) SG: Lamb, Wright SF: Barnes, Butler PF: Boozer, Gibson, Davis C : Noah, Asik, Biedrins Then new core becomes: Level 1: Rose Level 2: Noah, Barnes, Lamb Level 3: Gibson, Butler, Mirotic SAM SMITH HAT OFF. But seriously if the Bulls could do this, I'd be down. Bulls In: Calderon, Davis, #8, #10. Bulls Out: Deng, #29, K/B/H (any of Korver, Brewer, Rip), Watson Raptors In: Jack, Ariza, #29 Raptors Out: Calderon, Davis, #8 Hornets In: Deng, K/B/H, Watson Hornets Out: Jack, Ariza, #10 Then if the Bulls got any combination of Harrison Barnes, Jeremy Lamb, and Terrence Ross I'd be ecstatic.
