I miss eating real hotdogs. With diabetes the issue is the buns plus the hotdog and bun are killer in sodium. No way would I ever one wrapped in lettuce or something like that. -

Unless I'm imagining this but Cannon threw a pitch that was 96. -
Probably due to younger people in the media quite ignorant of a past of 20 years and not doing research. Schriffen mispronounced Bill's last name.

Unfortunately Americans demand that in modern day sports. If a player doesn't smash a cooler or throw a big fit it must mean they don't care. If look at the legends of sports they didn't wear their emotions on their sleeves. -
that was impressive

ya think that guy could steal home?

If it makes you feel better the Sox manhandled the Pirates and Detroit is having trouble with them.
-

TLR/Grifol era was such a cancer. So many regressed or out of baseball. It's still a mystery how that got into players' heads that may have caused this. Robert is the only one left of that era. It's sad how this turned out. I never like the Grifol hire since he was from a habitual losing organization. That stuff spreads obviously. His statements before he started as manager here were not impressive. -
A lot of these politician should suggest something like this when owners threaten to leave because they can't have new stadiums.
-
the result is either stagnant or regression......I they could only have the rare find....like they got the better end of a deal

I would think the hanging slider would be easier.

Jerry doesn't think so.

Too many assumptions..... Sox get good under Ishbia..... who knows when? really compete until..... what does compete mean? These things aren't certain. My lack of optimism is based on history. -

you spelled lousy wrong. Legacy organizations are the Dodgers and Yankees. More so the Yankees. Interesting that many of their free agents seem to be productive. Sure they get a dude once in a while but I imagine any player would love to wear uniform and not for Halloween. The old Sox legacy started out by throwing a World Series. -

This is why you promote from within and the only qualification is "within". He doesn't want to hear free outside advice that he is doing it wrong. -
Not sure how his post related to the Cubs unless it was edited.

So it's what have you done lately vs. an established pattern that keeps repeating. There is one constant in the latter. I could understand if the team went through more than one owner. The pattern is fans can't have nice things. If so it's temporary.
