This is the first Sox game I've watched since I can remember. They just happen to be playing the D'Backs which I have to play extra for. Don't have to do that to watch the NFL Cardinals or Suns. BTW if you listen to the D'Backs you get more info about the Sox then the Sox broadcast

Then they will sign more veterans who wouldn't make most major league rosters in hopes of deadline trades (that make us so giddy) for no level prospects. The Sox are not the only ones trapped in this madness. As for the GM, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. The former player syndrome and nepotism seems to to have more lack of success. That and acquiring players and exces from consistent losing organizations.
