Parts of the year I thought I saw some improvement on plate discipline and some other fundamental areas.

Boy has that gone down hill  - Meidroth and quero dont walk any more... tonight meidroth swings at ball 4 twice.

Lenyn is the epitome of dumbfuck baseball.

I thought maybe our new manager was okay - but after tonight let me throw him in with the clown show.

I've been a white sox fan for 37ish years and I'm actually close to done.

This was the first game I've watched in a few weeks.

This entire organization is the epitome of dumbshit baseball from top to bottom.

One more loss to 100. Remarkable. Hard to believe the great city of Chicago is represented by this team. Wonder if Jerry will rip the fans or say publicly, "they should be happy they have a team."

The city is a lot more concerned about the Cubs' recent slide and Kyle Tucker's health...along with PCA's slumping second half.

This team isn’t going anywhere next year without signing significant free agents, which we know won’t happen. They’ll be lucky to win 70 games in 2026.

Correct.

All depends on Hagen, Schultz and Grant Taylor taking the next steps...and all those pitchers like Thorpe coming off injury.

If they get to 70 wins next year it means a lot of key guys made big progress, because this isn't a team adding in free agency. That's actually a good thing and it might actually make this team worth adding to in a real way.

Since some folks were ready to start speculating on how next season will be better it should be noted this team has lost 10 of 11.

It's had more than it's share of crap teams.  No franchise QB.  Only 2 WS having 2 teams.

Green Bay only has one sports team and has a lot of success.

The only positive was the Jordan Bulls which you many never see an NBA team like that again.

It could be worse like Oakland the official farm system for the Yankees since I could remember.

The biggest progress next season will be that we'll be one year closer to new ownership taking over this team.

Don't forget the Blackhawks won 3 titles in six years not too long ago. Corey Crawford was sensational. It's despicable what happened to Lloyd Pettit's Blackhawks. The Bulls aside from the Jordan years (which were wonderful) define mediocrity to badness. The Bears have been so bad it's almost like they belong in the CFL not NFL. Sox used to be a pretty good franchise. Even in bad years they contended a while and weren't out of it in early May. The Cubs are hexed by their beloved stadium which Ozzie cracks me up when he rips Wrigley. The Cubs seem content to play .460 ball in that relic of a park although this year they are exceptional somehow. They have as good a chance as anybody to get hot in the postseason and make the WS.

Holy bleep. We've lost 10 of 11? That used to be monumental in Sox-land. Now nobody even notices. How the hell has our improved club lost 10 of 11?

No one cares about hockey.  Only in Canada.

The average person will see an endangered species in the wild before an NHL game.

Chicago is a losers paradise.  The Cubs might ruin that.

Don't the Blackhawks sell out every game still? Hockey actually is exciting in person and Chicagoans know that. I assume prices are now outrageous. Wat's parking at a Hawks game now? 50 prolly? Hockey sucks on TV but is a blast in person.

Agreed. Nothing changes until then.

I think we have a nice nucleus of young players but they all have some flaws.
They are all looking at I pads in the dugout after a bad at-bat but are they actually learning anything, take Sosa, he keeps swinging at balls way out of the strike zone, none of them except for maybe Quero cut down on their swing with 2 strikes. This is where good coaching comes into play, what is our hitting coach teaching these kids.

They averaged a bit over 19,000 last season.

Yea, the hawks don’t have the Cubs fandom, there is a drop off when the team is bad

I looked it up and changed it to 19,000, not bad for a lousy club but not the 22,000 they averaged in the decade with 3 Stanley Cups.

Put a good squad in there and you get those seats filled immediately

That may explain why you live in Arizona.   Top 5 in attendance were Montreal-Detroit-Chicago-Tampa Bay and Florida.  Notice only Canadian is Montreal in Top 5 which includes 2 Florida teams

nope - you can't even stream hockey, no one cares but I miss it

Funny comment by Ozzie is why do you want to watch yourself strike out
