The Sox are not the only ones trapped in this madness. As for the GM, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. The former player syndrome and nepotism seems to to have more lack of success. That and acquiring players and exces from consistent losing organizations.

You are seeing long term. They need to get lucky drafting a difference maker and not one who is only good every 5 days. Losing is a habit.
