  1. I'd think he has a good work ethic that younger players need to see.
  2. none of these hits have been really hard
  3. I never listen to the Sox broadcast. Amazed how the opposing broadcast will tell you more. It's obvious they do their homework.
  4. bad running and bad defense in one play
  5. hard to have any confidence when the lead is only a run. It's a matter of time when it swings the other direction
  6. He's already on that team they'll just end up with someone worse if they trade him but we like our trade frenzy for some reason though they just can't improve a player who can't catch a baseball. It's been that way a long time.
  7. You hope pitchers avoid the TJ virus.
  8. It's been that way pre Getz and he wasn't exactly good in his previous position either. He got the job because no one really wanted it and Jerry did not want to hear from possible GMs that he sucks as an owner.
  9. Bullpen era never tells a complete story. It's about being clutch. If guy from the pen lets an inherited runner score it's not on them. It doesn't always reflect a team in the standings. But it seems there is no shortage of bad ones. It's the most inconsistent part of any team. Yet I think it foolish to invest a lot of money in one. See Rick Hahn
  10. Only if there is one available 4 years from now. We somehow believe the future is certain, like being competitive again. Other teams do a rebuild of the rebuild rebuild. Some teams are stuck at being bad. Trading today for tomorrow, then tomorrow becomes today. Life would be grand if other GMs overvalued a fan's overvalue of players. We also tend to look at these kids as if they are a finished product.
  11. Who can guarantee that. Hopefully Ishbia is already doing some research. I doubt Jerry would honor any advice.
  12. Great that starts tomorrow
  13. Good to know. Their record isn't Sox like. Charlotte is like watching the Sox B team.
  14. There were probably plenty of Jake Eder types. To some that's better than letting a player walk. That satisfices our trade frenzy. It might be some A ball player and we'll rejoice if they get a hit or pitcher with injuries. Yet we hope that .00000005% that person will somehow flourish in the Sox farm system,
  15. I bet (insert most Sox players) goes to a good team and he takes off, just like Vaughn
  16. So which Sox farm team should we tune in to instead of watching the Sox?
  17. It's a Chicago thing
  18. Brewers were down 8-1 and came back and won.
  19. I question if the coaching in Charlotte is not good.
  20. No one would and I don't think I've implied that. Say like in 2030 if that were the case.
  21. So is this a poll? The A's should be on top.
  22. His qualification is dealing with Reinsdorf. No seasoned or experienced GM would ever take that job. Jerry also probably didn't want to hear how flawed he is doing interviews.
  23. Maybe the Brewers are a tough organization in doing things their way. Oh you don't want to go to the pen? Fine we'll trade you. Who won the trade? Both. The Sox needed a place holder arm.
  24. We do that with our own players listed above. We are conditioned into not having nice things. Then our next reaction is to trade them before they turn into a pumpkin. Then we regurgitate the same process over and over.
